the beginning of new Ava

Episode 10

Ava sniffed and perceived the familiar scent that she had to look around and just beside the window she saw the reflected moon light with Lilly staying there, it was so exiting for Ava to see Lily blossom again like a goddess after the trauma they have been through together, not like Lilly was smiling and happily jumping around like she used to when she was younger, but ofcourse Lily looks older just like Ava looked older too, but Lily surprisingly looked different from what she used to be with a different mood as she looks angry and fierce, her eyes were bloody red admist her healthy self and body, those eyes were not the colour of eyes Ava was familiar with, those pretty ocean blue eyes were gone and these present ones she was having now looked like someone who was ready to devour. Ava could not add up what had happened to her lately and how it had affected her fox Lilly.

"Lilly?"

Ava called out gently but was short of words.

"What's wrong Lily?"

She asked again but Lilly said nothing other than putting her head down like she was dissappointed in herself with the way she feels, Lilly feels angry and revengeful that she wished to get hold of the one who had brought them to where they are right now.

Ava have a connection with her fox which is most natural, but Ava can not really explain the state of Lilly other than the fact that Lilly is very angry and have the feeling to kill without mercy and control, Ava knew immediately that she need to have control over her fox so she will not make rash decisions, it was a miracle that she was not dead and that to her was only a gift from the moon Goddess and a chance to work out her life or even a second chance to love and meeting her mate as a part of her still thinks Alex would come to realise what she was and he would find her, that thought got Lilly mushy because she could listen to everything Ava has in her mind as she went down to the floor to sit, Ava went closer to her and patted her gently knowing the thought of Alex which was supposed to bring pain and detest seems to bring them into conciousness. The thought of that makes her sad as she wondered if she would ever get through this feeling she has for him.

"This must be why you are angry right?"

Ava said to Lily as she realised it must be because she was supposed to just die and not come back to life to feel thesame pain all over again.

Ava sighed as she was still digging her fingers into Lilly soft hair to calm her nerves just when the door opened and Ava jumped while George alongside Emily brought in trays of foods and fruit for Ava, Ava was mute and lost at thesame time as she does not know how she was going to explain the presence of Lily.

"Uhmm..."

Ava stammered as she was pointing at Lily's direction only to turn around and found out the space was empty. She sighed in relief and Emily who never understood what was happening and had a wrong message began to talk.

"Oh you must be thinking you are troubling us, don't worry, it is fine, you are not bothering us at all"

Emily said as she beamed at Ava while Ava only nodded thanking her stars for whatever Emily was thinking for her to have arrived at that as George decided to add to that.

"Yes, you should eat well so you can get better and also for the sake of your baby"

he said as he set to leave.

"I will be leaving now, you should keep her company Emily and show her to the bathroom so she can have a warm bath"

he said and left immediately.

Emily sat gently on the edge of the bed close to Ava as she picked on her fingers shyly, very confidently Emily had to have talked to Ava was because her father was presence and it made Ava chuckle while Emily face was down all through trying not to face Ava as she eats.

"I am Ava"

Ava simply said to Emily as she smiled at the young girl knowing there might never be a conversation if she doesn't start one because the silence says so.

"What your name, I mean what can I call you?"

Ava asked again when Emily was only starring at her without saying nothing.

"I am Emily"

she said lowly and shyly.

"Emily George"

she added.

"I see"

Ava replied.

"You are very beautiful Emily, your hair too"

she said as she made a face.

"Is it not too heavy for you Emily?"

She asked.

"No it very light"

Emily found herself saying excitedly as she shyly stopped talking when she saw the teasing smile of Ava, Emily do not have friends around and it was so good to have someone to talk to especially a female figure that is interested in her feminine features too.

"You look beauty too"

Emily said to Ava.

"Thank you"

she replied as they were awkwardly silent again for a while and Emily already started feeling the heat as she broke the silence.

"Is your baby a girl?"

She asked Ava.

"I don't know"

Ava simply answered as she just realised she had not even thought about that herself and she already concluded it male when she called him an Alpha.

"What do you think?"

She asked Emily.

"I think it a girl, a beautiful girl like you"

she beamed and Ava only smiled back.

"Is her Father coming here too? "

She asked as Ava felt her heart jumped and her stomach crumbles as she felt like throwing the piece of food in her mouth but she eventually gulp it down her throat without chewing as Emily asked more interrogative questions.

"He will come down here to see his baby right ?"

She asked again and beamed like that was a good news that should excite Ava.

"No Emily"

Ava said slowly.

"He is never going to come, I am all alone" she said.

"I and my baby, we are all alone"

she added.

"Oh I am sorry, I'm sorry to hear that he is dead"

Emily said as her head dropped.

"No he is not dead, he rejected me"

Ava said and it was her turn to bring her head down with tears drooling from her eyes.

"It okay, you will be fine"

Emily said to Ava holding her hands, Emily Is the sweetest being Ava had come across as she subconsciously held on to her soft tender palms as she felt sobber.

"Thank you Emily"

Ava said as she quickly hugged her tightly just when George walked in to check on them as he was not hearing any sound from the room, just when he opened the door the ladies stopped hugging as he set to go back.

"Oh I am sorry"

he said as he was about shutting the door when Ava stopped him.

"No George, it okay"

she said as she beamed while Emily also smiled which got George smiling too.

"What is happening here, you guys seem to be excited and have never really seen my dear new Alchemist in this bright mood before" George said as he entered the room pointing his statement to his daughter Emily.

"Me?"

Emily said pointing at herself as she was lost at who her Father was referring to.

"Yes you Emily George"

George replied as he placed his hands behind him while he walked towards them both.

"I am so proud of you Emily even if I was scared from the onset, you helped me realize that my antidote was a success all along"

George said as he stared at her for a while and all the memories of her mother came gushing at him like water flood.

"I love you Emily, so much"

he said to her looking all mushy and emotional.

"I love you too Father"

she said as she jumped on him in excitement while Ava was starring at them in astounishment when she did not really understand what they were talking about.

"Oh hey, Emily was actually the one who gave you the antidote against my wish"

George announced.

"And you passes on but she was only trying to help"

he added.

"I was mad at her for trying to give you an antidote I was not sure of not knowing it was actually going to help you"

he smiled.

"Have been wanting to talk to you, Emily can you excuse us for some time?"

George asked Emily as she said nothing but jumped out togive them space. George turned over to Ava and looked at her immersely before pooping the question.

"Who are you?"
