Ilka’s flight was on time. When I saw her coming out the main door of the airport, I put on my emergency lights and opened my car trunk. I put her suitcase in the trunk and we drove to the house. Ilka spent the next two hours telling me about Ava’s university and all of the historical sites she had seen. I had not seen Ilka that excited for years. We took the next day off from work and we went to the beach.
After about six months, Ilka and I decided that we were going to look for another house. We were interested in getting something that was either on a lake or one of many cannels that are in and around West Palm Beach. We also had decided that we would like to have a house with a swimming pool. We both took a week off from work and began to look. Finally, we were shown a beautiful house
