Since the rally, I have put up with a lot of bullshit from my son, and the people around me. I felt as if I had to prove myself worthy of taking over for Brandon, and combining our families, since his business was given to me by his sons, who wanted no part in it.
As I was working to get things in order, DK was spiraling out of control, and eventually became someone I didn't recognize. This happened in such a short span of time, that most of the damage was done before I even realized it.
I knew about his infidelity. Hell, at one point I had even cheated on Amber. It wasn't something I was proud of, but I wouldn't apologize for it either. I apologized for hurting her, but I owned up to the mistake in the action, and that was good enough in my eyes.
