Saraphina’s Pov
Bang
I sent my alarm clock flying across my room, ahhh I groaned, am not a morning person do I hate morning’s yes.but I was excited for today because it’s the first day of college, am a freshman in Nyc and yes that was my dream university.
I got up from my bed and walked down the steps before making my way to my bathroom for a long bath.
After the warm bath, I dried my hair, brush my teeth and walk out of the bathroom to my vanity table, I did a minimum makeup, like doing my skin care on my face and putting a little amount of pink lip bam on my lip, that’s my definition of makeup, I don’t do too much.
I walk into my walking closet I decided to go for a simple look, a black palazzo jean and a red crop top, took my tote bag placed everything I need and went down stairs.
Hy baby girl Isabella greeted me immediately I step into the kitchen, hey good morning and how was your night i ask her.
An’t your looking breathe taking she tease, with does sexy legs of yours, i blush from he complements, Isabella is my best friend right from grade school, she doesn’t forget to remind me of how good looking I am and a model like body I have and still decided to venture into business instead of being a model, I’m 5,5 foot tall with chestnut hair, ocean blue eyes, slim with curves in the right places and a long leg but trust me Isabella is nothing short of pretty, She is a petite, fair-skinned beauty, standing at 5'3" with dark chocolate brown eyes, plump lips, and a slender figure that hinted at a small bust, exuding a quiet confidence that made her all the more captivating.she wants to become a lawyer like her parents, she has an elder brother and he his a doctor, he graduated two years ago from Oxford now he works in one of the biggest hospitals in New York.
Hungry? came Bella’s voice, yea, she passed me a toasted bread and a cup of coffee.
I took my car keys and we went to the underground parking center of our apartment, we got into my Mercedes Benz and drove off, it’s a forty minutes drive from our apartment to the university, because our parents did not agree to us staying in a dorm here in New York, so we bought an apartment a little far from the university.
As I drove us to campus, I couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nerves. Isabella sat beside me, fiddling with the radio.
"Hey, Saraphina, you okay?" she asked, noticing my furrowed brow.
"Yeah, I'm just a little anxious, I guess," I replied, taking a deep breath. "First day of uni and all."
Isabella nodded understandingly. "I know, right? I've been stressing about this for weeks. But we'll be fine. We've got each other."
I smiled, feeling a bit better. "Exactly. So, what are you most looking forward to?"
Isabella's eyes lit up. "Definitely meeting new people and making friends. And I'm super excited for my first class . I've heard the prof is amazing."
"Hmm I see . "I've been reading up on the syllabus, and it looks like it's going to be a great course. Oh, and we should totally grab coffee after class today."
Isabella grinned. "Sounds like a plan! I need some caffeine to wake me up. What time is your first class?"
"9 am," I replied, checking the clock. "Better get our game faces on."
Isabella laughed. "Right behind you! You know, it's crazy – we're finally here. Freshmen year is going to be wild."
I nodded, feeling a sense of determination. "We're going to crush it, Isabella. Let's make this year unforgettable!"
Isabella high-fived me, and we both cheered, ready to take on this new chapter together.
Here's another conversation between Saraphina and Isabella:
As we stepped out of the car and onto the university campus, Isabella and I took a moment to soak in the atmosphere. People were bustling about, chatting with friends and hurrying to their classes.
"Wow, this place is huge!" Isabella exclaimed, gazing around at the sprawling buildings.
"I know, right?" I replied, bring out my schedule from my tote bag . "I'm a bit overwhelmed, but in a good way."
Isabella nodded, checking her schedule. "Okay, so I've got lit class in the Langston building. Where's yours?"
"I've got business stats in the Business building," I said, "Looks like we're heading in different directions."
Isabella grinned. "Yeah, but we'll catch up at lunch, right? Maybe grab that coffee we talked about?"
"Absolutely," I agreed. "Let's meet up at the student union at 12:30. Sound good?"
Isabella nodded, and we shared a quick hug. "Have a great first class, Saraphina! You got this."
"You too, Izzy," I replied, smiling. "Let's do this!"
With a final wave, we headed off in opposite directions, ready to start our university adventure.
I walked into the Business building, my heart racing with excitement and a hint of nervousness. My first class of the day was Business Statistics, and I was determined to make a good impression. I found my classroom and took a seat near the front, pulling out my laptop and notes.
As the professor began to introduce herself, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe. Dr. Thompson was renowned in her field, and I was thrilled to be learning from her. She dove straight into the material, explaining complex statistical concepts with ease.
I scribbled down notes furiously, trying to keep up with her rapid-fire delivery. But despite the initial overwhelm, I found myself becoming more engaged. The concepts were challenging, but Dr. Thompson's enthusiasm was infectious.
As the class progressed, I started to see how statistics could be applied to real-world business scenarios. It wasn't just about numbers and formulas – it was about making informed decisions and driving business success.
When Dr. Thompson asked a question, I hesitated for a moment before raising my hand. "Yes, Ms...?" she said, looking at me expectantly.
"Saraphina," I replied, my voice clear. "I think the answer is...?" I explained my reasoning, and Dr. Thompson nodded approvingly.
"That's correct, Saraphina. Great job!" she said, smiling.
I beamed with pride, feeling more confident about my place in this class. As the lecture drew to a close, I packed up my things, eager to meet up with Isabella and share my experiences. This was going to be a great semester.
