Chapter 1
He groaned and screamed in frustration as the continuous voice of the phone woke him up. Still muttering curses under his breath he slid off the hands that were wrapped around him. The hands of his flavour of the week. And pushed himself forward to finally answer the phone and give a piece of mind to whoever thought it was fine to call him at this odd hour. It was David who was calling. His right hand man.
“David this better be f*****g good or you won’t like what happens next. What on the earth would make you call me at 3am?!” he screamed in the phone and waited for a response.
“Boss...I...look I know you are going to be enraged but..” David nervously spoke before being cut off.
“Get to the goddamn point David. I don’t have time for this nonsense.”
“Boss we just received a call on the telephone in the mansion. It was from the hospital. They called to let you know that..that she was brought in earlier this night. And from what they told her condition was not really good. They found her thrown outside the hospital. They found Her. They found Eileen.”
“And what makes you think that I give a f**k about what happens to that b***h?! Let the w***e die for all I care!! How dare you disturb me for this?” He roared.
“There are something’s that you won’t like boss. You need to see them. I assure you that they are of utmost importance. If you do not want to go to the hospital, at least come to the main house. Please. I wouldn’t be calling you had I not deemed them important enough”
“David like I said...I DONT f*****g CARE about anything that concerns her and-”
“Just this once. Please. Just have a look over what we found.” David desperately urged.
He sighed, palming his face and tightened his hold on the phone. He didn’t want to play this charade. He didn’t want to play this game. He couldn’t bear to look at anything that concerned her. However now that David was being so persistent, he couldn’t deny, owing to the fact that David rarely ever failed him.
“I’ll be there in 30 minutes David. But like I said , this better be good or you’re gone.” And with that he slammed the phone on the nightstand and walked towards the bathroom to shower.
He was a man of words and despite it being before dawn, half an hour later he was walking through the doors of the main house dressed immaculately as always. He Simply glared at David who was seated on the plush Sofa and walked to sit beside him. David shook his head and pointed towards the MacBook Pro on the coffee table. He scoffed and picked the laptop up. One glance at the bright screen and he couldn't help but scroll down almost immediately. A little part of him still cared for her. And seeing the photos of her bathed in blood made him go insane. After all he had loved her once.
