Chapter 33 - Kadis
I jump around realms again, just to be sure that I’m not going to lead someone to Jane’s. I then portal to the park and slowly walk to her apartment. As slow as I’m going, anyone trying to follow me would stick out. I take a winding path as well. I finally make my way to the door and let myself in. The fading sun is low on the horizon making the apartment gloomy with shadows. Jane must still be out. I debate texting her. No, not yet. I’ll set up Michael to meet with her first. Dammit! I forgot to get his number! Now how is that going to work? I wander into the apartment to grab a few of my things. I’m hoping I won't be gone long.
