Uninvited

>>>Kaid's POV>>Zabella’s POV<<< It was a comfortable sleep, probably the best sleep I’ve had since I left The States. He held me tenderly and played with my hair until I had passed out. I was dead to the world asleep. His chest was harder than a pillow, but it was nice, and it honestly felt so good to be close to him. The sparks felt amazing that the pull was intense. It was all wrecked when I heard a huge crash, and I was suddenly sitting up on the couch behind Antonio, his arm across me protectively. When I got my bearings to understand what was going on, I saw Kaid standing beside my front door that had been almost torn off its hinges, and it was everything I could do to keep from shifting. My eyes narrowed into daggers when they met his. "Get the f**k out of my house Kaid!" I yelled so loud the walls shook. Both of their eyes went wide, and I pushed passed Antonio and stood between them. "I said out!" I repeated slowly with just as much force.  "Bell please." He started to beg, "I'm sorry..." "...Kaid Tyson Swift, get out of my home, now." I said in a low tone that even the Alpha’s had to bow to. He dipped his head in shame and stepped out of my house and waited at the walk. I turned to Antonio. He looked surprised and had his hands out to the side non-threateningly. "I'm not going to hurt you, calm down." I said.  He reached for me, "Are you alright?"  "Fine." I lied. "Please wait for me here, I have to speak with him." "In the rain?" He asked, concerned. His face twisted at the thought of me being uncomfortable, and he looked around the room a moment. "Here." He said moving near the door, "Take my coat, you can put it over your head. And you need a sweater, maybe a blanket." He started to fidget. I stopped him and made him look at me, "I'll be fine. Will you?"  He let out a deep breath, "I will never tell you what to do, but I don't like him, or the way he acts like he owns you." He said honestly. "I know you're not mine, but you're not his either." He said as he looked at the floor. I touched his face and made him look at me, "I honestly don't know how I feel about any of this, but I'm more comfortable with you than I am with him."  He snuggled into my hand, and kissed my palm before he stepped back. I threw on my sweater, and put his coat over my head, and he smiled as I walked outside.  Kaid stood there soaked looking completely dejected as I walked up to him. "I asked you not to come." I said seriously.  "You should have told me he would be here and I wouldn't have." He snipped. "He arrived last night. I didn't know." I answered.  "I can't believe you left me for him." He said more to himself as he stared into the darkness.  "I didn't leave for him. I left because of you. Don't try and turn this on me." I shot back, and his eyes snapped back to mine. "After everything I had been through, after everything I had done for you, you turned on me." His eyes began to beg, "I never meant for any of that to happen. I wish I could turn back time..." "...but you can't." I interrupted. "I will never be with someone who I do not feel safe around, and I will never feel safe around you again." "Strong words from a feral wolf." He spat. I know he was just talking from a place of anger and humiliation, but it still pissed me off. "Other than my brother, I never hurt another soul, and I only went feral, because my mother kept Antonio from me. She knew he was my mate, and what it would do to me to be without one." I paused a moment, "I don't know why the goddess also gave me you, maybe so I wouldn't kill myself in that cottage. You should have treated me better. All you had to do was be patient with me."
