The Alpha Rejected Mate

Natasha, who just walked in the door heard Mike, her step father said. “ Natasha, this is the eighth time you failed this month, I couldn't help but feel disappointed”. Rose, her mother who was also in the room said softly, but the was written all over her face. As a Werewolf, before finding their mate at their eighteenth birthday, they must have their mate name written on their left or right hand or both hands, with that they could know their mate and his rank, if it is a Beta, it's name will appear on their left hand. If it is an Alpha, it's name will appear on the right hand or both hands. but if you did not get your mate name before your eighteenth birthday that's means that your mate is from the low class, which is the Omegas. Natasha was an exception. her father, Anthony was the Alpha of The Moon Park, but he died trying to save her two years ago, her stepfather, Mike was from the Midnight Park, who was the one who killed her father, holding her as an hostage, in the end he took over her father's park. Her mother, Rose submitted to her step father, Mike and got married to him because she wants to protect Natasha, because she was threatened by her stepfather that if she do not agree to marry him, he would kill her daughter (Natasha). Mike do not like Natasha presence because, her face make him remember that he was not the original Alpha of the Park, so he turned her to his slave, in order to make himself feel much better, Rose could not stop him, afraid he might do something worser. If a Werewolf couldn't find her mate after their eighteenth birthday, they would be kicked out of the park by the wolves. Rose hoped that Natasha finds her mate and he should be of a higher rank, so that she could have someone to protect her when she is not here anymore,but now that she feels a little disappointed because it is only few days to Natasha coming-of-age but she have yet to get her mate name, she did not know if she could get it before then. Natasha looked at her worried mother, who tried to hide her worries from her step father, who was sitting opposite her, then she swore in her heart that she must succeed and survive what is coming in the future. with that thought she walked back into her room. The voices of Rose and Mike could still be heard even when she locked her door. Natasha lay in bed and stare out the window at the sky, she couldn't help but think about her father. Anthony was a Idol in the Moon Park, he was powerful, ruthless and also gentle all together. Natasha thought if what he used to her say to her whenever she got into a fight with other wolves. “ don't worry, my little princess, if someone hurt you, you don't have to hurt your hands or dirty it just leave it to papa, papa will show them whose daughter they are messing with ”. he used to said that smiling, while showing off his muscles,he always take her to run on his back on a wolf form whenever she is sad. in fact, Anthony would have won the battle two years ago if she listened to her father and stayed in her room, during the battle, her father took her and hide her on her secret room on the underground palace, but when it is midnight and still her father is nowhere to be seen, became worried and went out to looked for her father ignoring is instruction to not come out, but after she went out she was taken by Mike who was looking for her, he hold her hostage and ask her father to jump down the cliff in order to save her and promised that he will not kill her. Her father agree after hearing Mike promise before he could jump down himself, he was pushed down by Mike unprepared. Mike kept his promise to kill her but not after he use the same promise to marry her mother, Natasha always blame herself for her father's death. Mike don't treat the Moon Park wolves well, his wolves maltreat them and change them to labourers and slaves, if they did not finish their works before the appointed time, they will be beaten, kill or sometimes sexually assaulted and will be starved for three to one week, this causes the birth rate in the Moon Park to fall and the death rate to rise. All this thought made Natasha, who was laying on the bed unable to sleep, so she decided to go out for a little walk and see if any Moon Park wolves needs help. “ Natasha, this letter was sent to you” Rose was about to enter the room when Natasha steps out, she handed her the letter she was holding. It was from the Andrew's Family. The letter was an invitation to a grand party, they will be holding tomorrow,and since she was about to come-of-age, she could use this opportunity to to see if she could find her mate, but Natasha don't feel like going to this kind of grand party not when she is like this. “ I will not be going, I have something to do tomorrow” Natasha says and as she gives the letter back to Rose. “ But, I have already accept on your behalf, so the Andrew's Family is expecting you tomorrow ” Rose said seriously, not taking the letter from Natasha. “ you accepted before asking me if I want to go, you do not want to know my opinion, why do you always keep on doing things without asking for my opinion when I will be the one to suffer the outcome.” Natasha looked at her mother with hurt in her eyes, ever since her father died, she and her mother relationship begins to fall apart. “ No matter what, you must attend this event tomorrow or else you should get ready to be kicked out of the park and feed yourself” Rose said, avoiding Natasha eyes. “ Okay, I will go” Natasha has no other choice but to go, even if she hate her step father, she did not have the resources to go against him yet, if she is kicked out, she will have to live a life worst than this, even if she feels embarrassed to go there in her condition, she would have to say that this is really a good opportunity to look for her mate. When Rose hears this, she sign in relief and went back to her room. Natasha looked at the leaving Rose and enter her room, she did not have the mood to go for a walk again. Early the next morning, Natasha dressed up and made her way to the Andrew's Family party. this is not the first time she was going to the Andrew's house, when she was little and her father was still alive, he used to take her to the Andrew's parties once in a while, this maybe also one of the reason she does not want to go. “ Young lady, this is not a place you can enter as you pleases, show me your invitation, if you don't have it you are not allowed to enter.” A middle-aged man in black suit, who looks like the security guard steps forward and stop her. Natasha took out the invitation letter her mother gave her yesterday and hand it over to the man.
