A another night of drinking at Aldo’s pub, Aileen got off early tonight so naturally I took her to dinner, of course with a few drinks, when I think she’s reached her limit I suggested we go home, leaving the pub to my town car awaiting us as always, opening the door Aileen climbs in the back seat, I join her from the other side.
As I always do, I show her the tablet between the two of us, I like to pretend I haven’t memorized her address already, “write in your address and that’s where we’ll go” I send her a little wink like I’ve done so many times before.
“Or, we could go somewhere else, your place maybe?” she hesitantly suggests, simply perfect.
I am a little surprised but I’m not about to argue, she’s the one that brought it up, “if you like, then that’s no problem,” I select my address and off we go.
The ride is quiet making it seem a little longer then I expected, the silence was almost awkward even with the radio, I still cant figure out why she would want to go to my place, thought she’d be more comfortable at hers, I thought she would want to go home change, she’s still in her uniform, I might have to fix that.
Arriving I get out Aileen does the same, I walk around to the front of the car and together I walk us in my building’s front doors, I can see her looking around unsure and maybe a little nervous as we walk past the few creatures working or lounging around the lobby.
In the elevator arm in arm we head up to the penthouse, she looks amazed as the elevator doors open directly in the penthouse, my home, as we walk in the lights turn themselves on, revealing my home, black leather chairs white marble floor an electric fire place a black marble kitchen with white appliances, everything high quality and top brand.
I watch as Aileen takes it all in, “did you want a drink?” I ask her walking to the kitchen, she nods her head slowly taking off her jacket and taking a seat on the couch, I join her with two drinks, I watered her drink down with some clear soda, she doesn’t seem to notice, she’s taking a few quick sips “nervous?” I ask looking her over.
“A little” she says with a shaky breath.
“Don’t be doll” I lean closer to her as she takes one last drink I take the cup from her placing it on the table, “there’s nothing to be nervous about here,” I put my hand on her thigh and lean in for a kiss, I got one but not a very memorable one, again, better, again and again until she’s turning into me, my hand holding her cheek, her hands holding my arms.
I break the kiss and sigh a moment, “I’m sorry” it catches me off guard.
“For what?” I ask her.
“I must smell horrible, I didn’t think, I was just at work, but I didn’t think about it” she confesses, unable to look in my eye sockets.
I kiss her again “it’s okay, there’s nothing to worry about” I go in for another kiss, but I’m stopped as she puts her hands on my chest.
“I’m sorry” she says again “I probably smell horrible, like grease and sweat” she confesses looking away, she’s never smelt bad to me, Aileen smells damn good with perfume on, but never bad.
“Aileen, it’s okay, did you want to have a shower?” I asks her, she nods her head looking embarrassed, “you can have a shower, I have one with everything you need, if it makes you feel better, I insist you have one” I explain.
“I would really like that actually.”
