Drinking in Booths with Monsters

Damn, Aileen, my soul is still throbbing form kissin’ her, I’m praying she comes back, I had to get out of that stuffy restaurant, I suck hard on my cigar, I want to get a nice smoke in before Aileen comes back, if she comes back, I know she wont like me smoking in the car. My driver got here faster then Aileen, makes me wonder if she’s taking a long time or maybe my driver was just fast, damn, even over this cigar smell I can still smell her perfume over the oily smell of that restaurant, very light and sweet. I almost hate myself a bit for forgetting her lips, I don’t think I could every forget them now, kissin’ her soft lips is forever engraved in my mind; the door just a few feet to my side opens, to my delight it’s Aileen, stomping out my cigar I great her with a smile. “Thought you said you were going to quite” she points out clutching the strap of her purse over her shoulder, she’s wrapped in a nude mid thigh length jacket, a nice jacket but an old and cheep one, we’ll have to get her some new cloths. “I said I would, if I should find my special something” I reminder her. “Or someone” she throws back stepping towards me. I take her open jacket and pull her into me, she stumbles into my open arms, “yeah, or someone” she’s smiling up at me and I melt to her soft smile, I want to kiss her, “shall we?” I ask gesturing to my car waiting for us. “Okay” she says shyly, I take her hand and walk her to the car, opening the back seat she jumps in I get in on the other side, “so, where are we going?” she asks putting her seatbelt on, adorable. A good question, I would normally take a girl back to my place, but I want to wait tell she’s really mine before any of that, bringing her to my place would make it too hard to resist her, “I have an idea” taking the tablet placed between our two seats I tap in a local pub I go to from time to time. The driver receives my request and the car starts moving, its nice being here alone with her, even if the driver is on the other side of a plastic wall its still making it hard to control my soul, “will I like it there?” she asks a moment after we’re out of the parking lot. “I hope so” I admit she might not be too crazy about the place, “it’s a monster pub, a good friend of mine runs the joint, it’s one of my favorite places to go” explaining this to her has me feeling a little bashful, sure I’ve taken girls here before but mainly because I’m out with the guys and we all get a girl or two. Aileen’s quiet as she’s looking out the window, “thought it might be nice, go out, have a drink, get to know each other” I’m hesitant about talking for the first time. Looking at me she just smiles and my soul waves, that feeling of falling that’s how I feel, “let’s hope I can drink” she says bring me back to her, “monsters make alcohol stronger than humans do right?” My grin widens, “course we do, with monsters being made up of cells and magic takes a little more for the liquor to hit us, don’t worry they serve humans as well” she giggles and looks back out the window, Aileen honestly seems calm. Taking a moment to enjoy her calmness, a thought comes to mind, “have you ever been to a monster pub?” I watch as her hands twitch as she clenches the corners of her purse, turning back to me Aileen wears a refined smile, the same one she wore with the customer I first saw her with, the one that tried to grab her, this is the smile she wears when she’s uncomfortable, “once or twice, haven’t been to one in years though” her sentence catches me off guard, not only from the way she tensed but also what she said. How old is this girl, I’m no good at guessing age, never really needed to back home, not with monsters, but humans, age is important, their age determines the rights they have, what they can and cannot do, I guess monsters are taking these into consideration but not as serious as humans take them. My Aileen seems like she’s in her twenties, a prime age for humans, but most humans can’t drink unless their 21, that also depends on where they live, she said she’s been to a monster pub at least once, but that was years ago, how old was she when she first went to a pub? Monster pubs can be lax in their rules but when it comes to humans, they are a bit better, so who was allowing her around bars then. “We’ll get you used to going there again don’t worry” I should start thinking before I speak, as her hands clutch her purse again she smiles that damned refined smile. “Oh, that’s right your going to treat me better than the other guys eh?” she says almost sounding like she’s joking, “I guess that means you’re going to buy me out right, then no one can treat me poorly” it might have been meant as a joke, but I’m not kidding when I say it. “Yes.” Those eyes of hers blink a few times before it looks like she can see straight again, “guess you’ll have to do it fast, with you buying me tonight it might mean I go on the menu after this” she explains. Before I can say anything or even think to say anything the driver arrives at the pub, the doors automatically unlock for us, we both step out, meeting her at the front of the car I offer her my arm, she takes it lightly hooking her arm with mine and holding my arm with the other one. Walking in the doors I can feel her grip tighten just a bit as we’re looked upon eminently after walking in, as usual I’m waved in and with Aileen on my arm, she’s let in too without a second glance, at least not one that I see. I take us to a booth off to the side, out of sight from the many wandering eyes, I’m sure she would like it too, I appreciate the privacy this booth has to offer, I sit across from her in the booth as we settle I am getting a sneaking suspicion she wanted me to sit next to her, just by how close to the wall she is and the nervous way she looks around. My friend the owner greats us, he’s not much for words so I fill the silence “Hey Aldo” “Welcome” Aldo has two kinds of voices, his usual is neutral, he seems unattached and disinterested in everyone and everything, thought that’s not the case, he looks to me and Aileen, “drinks?” he asks. “Umm,” Aileen begins though I get worried she might not dink anything with it being a monster pub. “Ah, I’ll have the usual, and get the lady something nice, a special drink something a human would enjoy” I order, hopeful she doesn’t find me ordering for her controlling. Aldo nods and offers his hand to Aileen, she hesitates and looks to me, I jester for her to take it so she does, I guess I see why she was worried to take his fiery looking hand, her little white hand in his bigger lean red hand appears a little frightening. Aldo of course doesn’t say anything while he cups her hand in his two, his head is bowed as he focuses, she’s looking over him, he seems intimidating everything about this guy screams danger, from  his red copper sink to his neatly combed hair that looks like fire and his sunken in black eyes, he looks to her giving her hand back, Aileen doesn’t break her gaze with him weather it’s fear or amassment from his eyes, his sclera’s are black, while his iris are grey. “Aileen” he says flatly, “thank you” he says the same way and like that he leaves, she watches him leave. I sigh to myself “I never thought I’d be jealous of him” I admit. “What do you mean?” her eyes are so wide and wondering, adorable. “Well you’re staring at Aldo so much I feel a little left out” I admit, it is true, though I’m positive its cause he’s a monster she’s never seen before, fire monsters aren’t very common but well known. “Oh, I see” she turns her body to me leaning her arms on the table as she rests her chest on the edge, damn, the smile she’s giving me is making me feel like the only monster in the room, those lips belong to me. “Don’t like sharing?” she’s teasing me I know, but I love it. “Not particularly” I play along. “Good” she sits up resting her hands in her lap, “because I don’t like being passed around.” I nearly snort, but settle for a chuckle, “and what gave you the impression I was going to let anyone touch you?” Thinking of anyone else touching her even if my pals did, I would go a little homicidal. I clench my fists restraining myself from blowing a fuse, I let out a deep sigh looking at her perfect lips “I could use a drink.” “I’m sure he’ll be here any minute now” she tells me reaching across the table she takes my hand, something I didn’t notice till now she didn’t flinch; she didn’t look scared still doesn’t, I don’t know why but I’m relived. Maybe this means she won’t go running for the hills if I lose my temper. As she said Aldo comes by with our drinks, my usual two drinks and one pretty lookin’ drink for Aileen, Aldo doesn’t say anything else he just leaves, not unlike him, Aileen dips her finger in the drink sucking on it after she makes a satisfied noise, taking her glass she raises it to me, “cheers” she says. It’s a human thing, touch glasses and sayin’ cheers, not entirely clear on why but I’ve never cared to know either, “cheers” I say touching my glass to hers and together we sip our drinks. “Do you like your drink?” I ask, she didn’t mess up her face when she tried it so I’m guessing she liked it. “Mmhmm” she nods her head taking another sip, “it’s really good,” I hate sitting across from her. “I’m glad,” I can’t smell her, I can’t touch her, I can’t kiss her, whenever she looks around the pub, I get worried she’s uncomfortable, “you’re okay that I brought you here, right?” I ask. “Of course, why do you ask?” “You seem nervous, like you want to leave” I explain, I’m an upfront kind of guy, why beat around the bush about anything. “What, no I don’t want to leave, why would you say that?” she asks hesitantly, Aileen is coming across a little flustered. Sippin’ her drink she listens as I speak, “for starters you haven’t taken your jacket off yet, just seems like you don’t plan on stayin’ very long” I point out. Aileen touches the open part of her jacket, “I just, didn’t want to take it off,” I give her a look asking for more, “I feel uncomfortable because I’m still in my uniform” she explains. It’s actually cute she’s embarrassed, “you don’t need to be embarrassed doll, no one here is going to judge you on what your wearing, if anything they would try to find out what one your working at” I take a long sip of my drink and hold my skull as I try not to get angry over the thought of some of these jerks looking for her, “but I wont let that happen” I inform her. My Aileen smiles with a slight giggle, “thank you” she tells me, I don’t hear that often, “but I wasn’t embarrassed for myself, I work at one of the busiest McKindlie’s in the city I’ll get recognized even out of uniform, no, I was worried I’d embarrass you and you know as you said before McKindlie girl’s aren’t the girls you would grace yourself with, so I kept my jacket on.” I have half a mind to lean over this table to rip her jacket and that uniform off her, I do the alternative, I shake my head and smile, “I don’t care what you’re wearing and I don’t care what anyone else thinks of what your wearing, I’m my own monster I’ll do what I want to with who I want” she looks at me and looks away smiling and looking bashful. When I watch her smile, I swear time stops, when Aldo comes around asking if we’d like another round it makes me think maybe time isn’t stopping but actually speeding up, a troubling thought. “Mind if I try your drink” Aileen asks reaching for one of my cups, I drink my drinks faster than most, so I order two at a time. “Not sure you’d be able to handle it doll” I admit watching her reach across the table like this is amusing, she’s staring at my cup in defeat, maybe she can’t handle her own drink. Thankfully she’s taking that cheap jacket off, unfortunately that still leaves the uniform but that will come off another time, “fine” she says with a tone, “I’m going to the bathroom” she announces standing she looks back at me “try not to miss me” she jokes as she walks off. I like watching her walk off, she’s got nice legs, they look soft, everything about her looks soft, I just want to wrap myself in her skin, I take a sip of her half finished drink, it’s not the drink I would choose and sure it’s kind of weak but I think Aldo could have made it weaker, this stuff is a little much for a human, maybe she’s getting drunk. I down one of my drinks and remind myself that I want to wait until she’s solely mine before we do anything, Aileen slips beside me in the booth without my noticing her, “hey there doll” I say a little surprised by her sudden appearance. She looks up at me, I could of mistaken her for someone else, her hairs down now in long wavy locks, damn, though I’d never forget those lips, her cheeks are slightly red, probably from the booze, “looks good” I tell her putting my fingers in her hair, even with her hair unbrushed it still feels soft. Aileen hugs my arm placin’ my hand on her lap, damn, “I’ll just have a little sip” she says reaching for my cup. I take it from her reach “nah un, you can’t have any” I tell her. “I just want a sip, just to taste it” she’s lookin’ up at me with those big green eyes, it’s hard to say no to a girl who’s got her t**s pressed against your arm while your hands touching her soft thighs. Not sure what else to do without giving in I down the drink placin’ the empty cup upside down on the table, “sorry doll all gone” looking down at her pouty face almost makes it worth the burn I feel from the liquor. Aileen kneels on the bench in the booth, taking my skull in her hands she presses her lips against mine separating my teeth with her tongue, she dances in my mouth with my tongue, Aileen pulls back from our sloppy kiss, I’m staring at her dazed by her passion as she sits next to me smug and looking hot as hell. “Tastes good “she says whipping the corners of her lips, I lean into her to kiss her again, though she pushes me back, I think she’s pushing me away, but I was wrong, she’s pushing me into the wall as she’s kneeling in my lap and kissing me. Damn this girl. Aileen sits up again whipping her lips, “why do you keep stopping?” I stupidly ask her. She just smiles at me, “well there’s not much else you can do in a both.” “Should we just get out of here then?” “I guess,” she takes her drink from across the table sipping it, “that’s up to you” she speaks into her glass. I know that’s what I want to do, but is it what she wants to do, this girl confuses me, yet I’m loving it. “Well it does seem like those drinks were a little much for you, so maybe I should take you home,” I tell her waving down Aldo for the check. “Oh, yeah I guess so” she speaks into her glass again, I pay for our drinks then we wait for Aileen to finish her drink, I am a little worried she might get sick drinking this stuff, so I tell her not to push it.
