Chapter 1: The Mysterious Discovery
Story Name: Rahosyo Ghera Duniya Author: Delwar Hossain In the beginning, we see a teenage boy wearing glasses. He was dressed in torn clothes. To the society, out of shame, his name was Ghoro. But his real name was David Carlo. The boy was polite and brave. However, he came from a very poor family. His father had no wealth, and his mother had nothing much either. His days were spent in great hardship with this family. His village was named Kol Kahara. The people of Kol Kahara were very arrogant and could not tolerate anyone. The village was very small in size. Ghoro was very talented, but being born into a poor family, he had no resources or money, so he could not study. Although he didn't go to school, he was naturally brilliant. One day, Ghoro went to the village forest. He saw a horse standing under a Banyan tree in a corner of the forest. The surroundings were dense jungle and thick bushes. He saw that the condition of the horse was very bad and it was sick. Seeing this, Ghoro’s conscience was stirred. He had come to the forest to cut grass for his cow's food. He gave his cow's grass to the horse to eat. The horse ate the grass. Various sounds were coming from the nearby bushes. Ghoro was a little scared. Suddenly, he saw that the horse was getting very frightened and in an instant, it became a Pegasus. Wings like a bird grew on the horse's body. Ghoro looked on in great surprise. Then he got scared too. Seeing the horse in such a state, he started running in fear. But a voice came from behind while he was running! "Wait!!" "Don't be afraid, I won't hurt you." Hearing this, he stopped running, but in his mind, he was still very afraid. He turned his head and saw that the horse was half-human and half-horse. From the head to the stomach it was human, and from the stomach to the legs, it was a horse. Shaking in fear, he came in front of the man-horse. Ghoro was extremely brave. This man-horse first said to him: "Why were you running away!!" Ghoro opened his mouth and said, "I was running away seeing you. Your sudden change into this form scared me a lot." Then the man-horse said— "I was testing you." "I was seeing what kind of person you are. And I have understood that you are a very good human. Now tell me, what do you want from me? You can tell me what you want, and I will give you exactly that." Ghoro asked, "Will you give me whatever I want?" In reply, the man-horse said, "Yes, definitely, I will give you whatever you want." Ghoro said to him, "Can you take me around the sky?" The man-horse said, "Yes, of course, I can take you around the sky. Sit on my back. " And Ghoro did just that; he climbed onto its back. Suddenly, the man-horse took flight towards the sky. It flew very fast. Ghoro was very happy; he never thought he could fly in the sky like this. While flying, Ghoro asked the man-horse, "What is your name?" The man-horse replied that his name is: Univer. He came from another imaginary country. That imaginary country is not on Earth. It is on another planet. Then Ghoro asked, "Can you take me to your imaginary kingdom?" In reply, the man-horse said, "No." Because it is an imaginary kingdom, no human from here can go there. He added that it is on another planet outside of Earth where humans cannot go. Then Ghoro felt very sad. The man-horse took him around the whole city and the village. They flew for a long time and had fun. Now the horse said: "Will you go home now? After a while, the sun will set and it will be night. It won't be right to stay outside at night." Ghoro then said, "Yes, alright, drop me back where you picked me up. " By then, it was almost time for sunset. And the horse dropped him off. "I will come to meet you again." Right then, the man-horse flew towards the sky again. While leaving, he dropped something down. But he didn't realize what he, the man-horse, had dropped. But Ghoro saw what was left behind. When the horse left, Ghoro saw a feather lying on the ground. The feather was colored with seven colors and was very bright. Ghoro became very interested in it. He didn't understand why it was glowing so much. He took it to his house. At home, his mother had cooked spinach and mashed potatoes for him. They were a poor family. Royal food was not in their destiny. This is a historical fact for the poor people of Bangladesh. He kept that bright feather beside his bed. And after eating, he fell asleep on the bed. It was late at night. Ghoro was in a deep sleep. Suddenly, he woke up to a sound. When he woke up, he saw that the feather he had kept beside his bed was gone. He was surprised; where did the feather go? A question arose in his mind. Suddenly, from one side, the sound of someone crying came. He couldn't understand whose crying sound it was. He was scared. His mother was sleeping in the next room, and his father had gone to work in the city. There was no one in the house except him and his mother. Then who would cry so late at night? He got up from bed and saw near the window that the feather was floating in the air. That too outside the door. An unusual crying-like sound was coming from the feather as it floated. A question arose in his mind. What is this actually!! Fearlessly, step by step, he moved towards the door. But the sound was coming from outside. He had a matchstick in his hand providing a little light. Without feeling any fear, he went forward. Pushing the door hard, he said loudly: "Who is here!!!" But there was still no one outside. Suddenly, the feather appeared in front of him. Coming forward, the feather started talking. In a very thin voice, the feather said: "Who are you!" The feather added, "What am I doing here? My home is not here. This world feels different." All the words came in a thin, squeaky voice. Then Ghoro was startled. He was thinking how a feather that glows can also talk. How can an ordinary feather speak? Then, without thinking much, he said, "Who are you? You are a feather, right? How are you talking?" In response, the feather said, "Don't you know me? I am Rikhi. Don't you know me? I am Univer's pen. Univer says... have you seen him?" When Ghoro heard these words from the feather, he understood right then that it must be something belonging to that man-horse. Ghoro then said to the feather, "How did you come here?" The feather said, "I came with Univer. Univer brought me here." Now Ghoro asked, "Which kingdom have you come from?" The feather said, "We have come from a planet called Center, where no humans live; only imaginary things are there. I have come from there. I am Univer's pen. Univer uses me for his necessary work. Whatever is written with me, whatever I am made to write, becomes true." Ghoro was startled and amazed to hear this. He was thinking, what kind of feather is this? Now the feather itself said, "You can try using me. Whatever you write with me, I will make it true." Driven by interest, Ghoro went to write something with the feather. He wrote 'A cow' in his old notebook at home. And suddenly, a cow appeared outside. Ghoro was shocked to see this. He thought to himself, "This is indeed a supernatural event. " He wanted to use it again. He wrote 'Many royal foods'. Suddenly, many royal foods appeared in front of him. Now he realized it was a supernatural pen. Now the pen itself said, "Can you take me to Univer?" Then Ghoro said, "Yes, I certainly can." Ghoro then asked the feather, "How will we go to Univer? He lives on another planet. A rocket is needed to go to him." In reply, the feather said, "Use me. Write a rocket using me. " Then Ghoro realized, "That's right!" He wrote 'Rocket' in the notebook. Right then, a very big rocket appeared outside. A rocket almost six to seven stories high arrived in front of his house. Ghoro was very surprised. How is this possible? He had never seen a rocket. He couldn't even ride an ordinary bus. And today, a huge rocket was in front of him. Ghoro was thinking how he would go to that planet as he didn't know it. This planet called Center is many, many kilometers away from Earth. He started wondering how he would fly such a big rocket. Ghoro then asked the feather, "I don't know how to fly a rocket." The feather also started thinking about how Ghoro would fly the rocket. Then an idea came to Ghoro's head. He asked what it takes to fly a rocket; he would need a book for that. He again wrote in the old notebook: 'Rocket flying book'. Immediately, a thick book appeared in front of him, where everything from the smallest parts of the rocket to how to fly it was written. Now Ghoro said to the feather, "It will take me a long time to read this whole book. You have to stay on this Earth for a few days." In reply, the feather said, "Okay." Now such a big rocket cannot be kept in front of the door. Ghoro then said to the feather, "Hide this rocket for now." Then the feather said, "Erase the writing from the notebook. If you erase it, it will vanish." He saw that after erasing it from the notebook, the rocket also vanished. The next morning, when Ghoro was going to the field with his cow and the new cow, his mother said to him, "You had one cow, where did you get another one?" In reply, Ghoro said, "This is the miracle of the Almighty. The Almighty has given it to me." His mother was thinking that he might have stolen the cow from someone else. But Ghoro managed to convince his mother. Now Ghoro went to the field with the feather and the two cows. After tying the two cows under a tree, Ghoro and the feather were talking. Suddenly, a tiger came out of the forest with a roar. Ghoro noticed it from afar and ran towards the cows to save them. While running, the tiger and Ghoro suddenly came face to face. Now, for some reason, the tiger was afraid of Ghoro. The tiger fled in fear seeing Ghoro. Ghoro couldn't understand why the tiger ran away. He thought, "Well, it's good that the tiger fled." Then a sound came from his pocket: "Ghoro, has the tiger fled? Or is it still there?" Then Ghoro thought, "How did the feather know?" When Ghoro asked the feather, "How did you know the tiger fled?" The feather said, "I have such power that no animal can come near me." Then Ghoro understood the real reason.
