Coles New morning routine

1294 Words
September 8th, Tuesday, 4 am ish.  Alpha Cole woke up grumpy as he has for the last month. His brother was not set to come home for another few days. Nate, his twin, had been sent to look for their mate. As twins usually had to share one mate, especially if they were identical like them. He missed his brother, as they usually slept in the same room, separate beds though. Nate was more charming even though they both had dark brown eyes, and black hair, Nates' was straight to his shoulders while Coles was wavy and to his ears. Nate was just better with words. At 14 most wolf born find someone they think is their mate, sometimes they find a couple. No one really knows until the fated mark appears between ages 16-18. However, most will start to build relationships with their future mates, even if they found a few. This is to help strengthen the bond. The Twin Alphas are powerful, and well-traveled they should have found their mate by now. This is why their father sent Nate to go find her, however, after a month Nate requested to come home. He was set to arrive on September 10th,  Cole pulled himself out of bed, showered, and dressed. He was waiting in the packhouse lobby by 3:55 am.  "Morning Alpha Cole, shall we head out?" Daniel yawned with a sleepy smile beside Christopher who looked half asleep. "Chrissie prob won't be fully awake till about halfway, so it will be a quiet walk to start"  "Okay" They all began their walk in the brisk air, it was becoming cold early this year. They walked off their pack land, which was a walled community in the forest of about 400. Wolf-born and other supernatural were not a secret, they never were for all of the time they lived peacefully with humans. Their packs were towns, that humans usually did not bother too much while the human towns were not too visited by wolf-born. However, the best private school for wolf-born in the entire country was in the human town near Blue Fire Pack. The schools consisted of elementary, middle, and high school in one building with university and college in another. This was done to allow for humans to teach certain subjects to the wolf-born easily, while the wolf-born would be familiar with human students. Lots of public schools had mixed races of all supernatural types. This private school system was made to be like public schools, instead of supernatural only. The only way in was to pay for membership. However, Pyronja managed to receive a scholarship anyway which should not have been possible.  The town was quiet as they walked by their school at roughly 4:30 am.  "We should just stay on campus dorms if we are going to walk past every morning." Alpha Cole commented.  "We asked, we were told no, by Alpha." Chris said seeming awake now.  As Chris and Daniel spoke about recent comic books and Manga they were reading Cole groaned internally for having to be awake at this time. It was regrettable, but he knew Chris would make a great beta. He barely even broke a sweat in the tournament and even won against the current beta Will. Cole was planning to take second place as Will was participating. Will ended up in third place. Cole thought to himself that he could handle this for a bit, as once Remaa and Nate come back he could go to school with them instead.  September 8th, Tuesday 5 am ish.  "We have arrived!" Cheered Chris and Daniel at the same time.  In front of them was a shabby-looking 3 story detached home. There were very nice houses around it though. It was clear it was a neglected house. The windows were dirty and cracked in some places while the siding looked like it was ready to fall off. The building seemed like a horror to live in especially as it creaked on their way up the steps past the multiple holes in the steps and porch.   "Pyro! We are here where are you!?" Chris yelled out once they were in the kitchen. A pot was on the stove and he began to stir it automatically.  "Shower! Can you get the children Daniel?" Came the sweetest voice to Coles ears. "We brought our future Alpha with us, and yeah well get the kids up here!" Daniel yelled back.  "Thanks, and welcome Alpha" Her voice was somewhat drowned out by the shower turning on.  They went down the stairs to a dark and musty basement. There was only one small living area, with a part bathroom off to the side. One small window with plywood was on the longest wall. There were blankets and pillows on the floor, with a long dresser on the short wall. The blankets looked old and possibly moldy. The carpet was stained as well.  "The kids? Where are their rooms?" Cole asked.  "Oh no all three sleep in here, see?" Daniel moved some blankets to reveal a small baby girl with messy curly hair that was brownish with reddish in it, and a small toddler with dark brown hair tangled to his ears.  "Really? It's a three-story house?!" Cole yelled. "The main story is the kitchen and living room with a full bath,  the second story has a few 'guest bedrooms' and the laundry room, and the top floor has a living room and her step-dads room. Pyronja is only allowed in the basement and first floor. Other than to clean or bring her step-dad food she can not go upstairs. These little angels are all hers to take care of. Her mom left after she gave birth to her brother, or at least that's what everyone said, we don't ask." Daniel explained this while expertly changing the girl's diaper, boys' pullup, and dressing them both. He then brushed out their hair, all while they were just waking up.  They headed upstairs, Daniel holding the girl in his arms while walking to the boy up the steps.  "Her name is Flarena, and he is Terran" Daniel smiled as they reached the top step. "Breakfast is ready, come eat, did you boys finish your homework?" Cole felt like he was in love at first sight.  They sat down to eat breakfast, eggs, and toast, while Pyronja helped Chris and Daniel finish their homework. After breakfast Pyronja, Chris and Daniel cleaned the entire house, it didn't even look dirty.  "Why are you cleaning a clean house?" Cole asked bord.  "Father will be angry if it's not recleaned every morning." was all Pyronja said.  "Let's go we have like 45 minutes to get to school" It was 45 minutes to 8 am which is when the first bell rang as Cole pointed out.  "Yup just bundling up the kids! and getting their bags packed. I made everyone a lunch, you too Cole." Pyronja said as she buttoned up her daughter's coat. "Where to girl?" Cole said passively  "Aunties, the kids go there for the day."  They left and headed four doors down, they dropped the kids off at a nice older ladys' that Cole knew was alone Fox who lost her pack years ago. He wondered why she took the kids but didn't really care. He needed his brother to meet Pyronja to tell him it wasn't their mate. He did not want a w***e for a mate.  Once they got to school they dropped the lunches off at the librarians' desk, apparently, they ate here, so she kept the food in her office fridge. Next, they went to their lockers one at a time and headed to class one, math. They made it for the first bell.
