Chapter 3 - Dive

617 Words
With the most attitude his tiny human body Bellamy got out the car his back pack slung on his shoulder. He read the sign fronting the cluster of drab gray buildings , West High School. Now he had only one task,  to figure out what is a main office and where is it? As he stumbled onto campus he was amazed at the sheet amount of small humans, some were gangling and skinny much like the body he now possessed and others looked like the super model type humans he tended to hang around.  He had his eyes full and his mind buzzing he nearly crashed into a small human.  "What the fork!" yelled the short wiry girl. "Fork?" he asked confused as he took in this little spit fire. Her round pale blue eyes and thin lips were twisted into a angry scowl.  "Yeah fork. I don't like to cuss you numb skull." She rolled her eyes and she huffed he still realized he didn't know where they main office was.  "Wait Fork! Where is... main office?" Bell yelled his voice again doing its annoying cracking thing.  "First my names Lea. Second just follow me, you talk weird and I don't trust you." the blonde stopped away leaving Bellamy to follow her hurriedly. He tried his best to give the space she obviously needed and wasn't ready for another verbal assault.  They entered a small gray building at the center of 2 larger buildings, and entered through a creaky door to the dusty desk which housed an even dustier looking old woman.  "Miss. I have this new student here. " Lea crooned her voice becoming overly sweet.  "Bell Sky?" The old crone heaved she took a stack of papers and flopped in on the desk in front of him.  Bellamy reached forward silently cursing Arthur for the most obvious code name. On the top of the stack was a list of classes.  "Look you're super weird and quiet, but we have the first class together. Lets go." Lea whispered.  Bell let her lead the way as they made their way through the halls  past the various classrooms.  Their first class was just as awkward as you can imagine. He entered by Lea and sat down at the back of the class, he waved awkwardly as the teacher dully announced we have a new student. Every single classroom was like this Bell entered awkwardly and sat in the back awkwardly.  Finally the tone over head let out a shrill loud noise on the speakers, a shift in the energy was evident. Whats going on ? Bell thought as he followed the crowd back to the front of the building. He sighed when he saw Arthur sitting in his car by the curb. We must be done... Bell thought to himself.  He walked forward toward the curb as he tried to figure out what was the lesson here. What was he supposed to do to earn his way back to The Sky? Immersed in his thoughts he almost didn't realize a black mustang quickly pulling up to the curb and a familiar voice yell "What the fork!" He heard Lea exclaim as she pushed past him and entered the car.  He hardly noticed her and she rolled her eyes. All he could focus on was the pair of eyes in front of him, Blue and icey. These azure eyes were more glimmering than anything he had ever seen in the sky.  As the black car pulled away Bell shook his head, and reluctantly got in. He remained quiet for the rest of the drive and dinner with Arthur. He stayed up all night haunted by those beautiful eyes.
