Chapter 2 - Down

Suddenly he awoke, he was in an alleyway in a foul smelling receptacle. Am I literally in the trash? He thought has he pulled himself up and out of the dumpster bin.  "Ew a naked hobo!" a smaller human sneered as it walked by, the child's mother shushed him as they walked on.  He looked down at his body to find he was indeed naked, but instead of his creamy blue mystical skin he found pale pasty flakey skin. Gone was his muscular enchanting form, instead he found bones barely encased by the flesh they were in. His eyes widened in terror, his father must certainly hate him.  "Bellamy?" a voice asked. He looked up to see a pudgy middle aged human in front of him. The human tossed him a over sized coat.  "Here put this on. I'm Arthur a devoted of your father's. Boy is he pissed at you..." Arthur chuckled as Bellamy put the coat over his shoulders.  "Lets go." Arthur motioned with his hand and the pair left the alleyway onto the busy street. Bellamy was shocked at how fast the pudgy man could walk, he was having difficulty keeping up as they dodged the many pedestrians also sharing the side walk.  "Oh my, what is that pain?" Bellamy gasped out loud as his stomach rumbled and twisted. The older man merely looked back and chucked at him.  Finally they made it to the steps and what the humans refer to as a town home, Bellamy had always thought of these dwellings as "half shacks" humans were so silly how they needed to have concrete and wood houses so close together.  "Are you hungry ?" Arthur asked as they entered his humble home.  "I don't know.... " Bellamy wondered as they sat down at a small quaint table.  Arthur busied himself putting together a sandwich and Bellamy felt his mouth water. I guess that answers the question he thought to himself.  "Your father showed himself to me in a dream, said I would find you in an alley way. Punished to the mortal world huh?" Arthur said as he laid the food in front of the former god.  "Guess so." Bellamy replied, his mouth already full of food.  "Well I have strict instructions, help you enough to keep you alive and have you do everything any other 16 year old human would do. " "16? Seriously?" Bellamy rolled his eyes, he was hundreds of years old he had lived in the sky for many years much past the infancy of a 16 year old human.  "So that means you need to get showered and ready its almost time for school." Arthur chirped as he handed a bag of clothes and essentials to Bellamy and directed him to the bathroom.  Once in the bathroom all alone Bellamy sighed in relief, at least his father did not kill him. Banishments always have a way back home some kind of task he needed to complete. He locked the door as he turned toward the tiny mirror in the small bathroom.  "What the Orage!!" He exclaimed exasperated. His face was covered in small little pustules. The unfamiliar deep brown almond eyes looked back him and the stark black hair fell floppy to the side a little over grown for his taste. He gave up looking in the mirror and made his way to the shower.  Once Bellamy was done Arthur instructed him to grab a brown  carrying pack and follow him to the car.  "You know you're gonna need a nick name. Bellamy isn't a normal thing. I'm gonna call you Bell!" Arthur chirped as they drove to the facility. Bellamy didn't respond just roll his eyes, he was over the unfamiliar body and its lack of mystical properties. He groaned as he eyes this pale dry skin, he wanted his blue smooth skin back. Arthur handed him a tube of cream labelled lotion as he continued rambling.  "You know your dad has appeared to me a bunch in my life. I was raised to be a believer and I've been blessed over the many years. Just wait until I call my mother and tell her I've been charged with your care." "I'm glad someone finds joy in my despair." Bell grasped his throat at the last part of his sentence squeaked. He threw his hands down in frustration. Why! Arthur chuckled, he knew this demi-god was going to have a hard time being a squeaky scrawny kid. He also knew he was well known for being a womanizer and very self absorbed. Orage has always given him whatever he wanted and the result was a tiny blue tyrant enchanting women to do his bidding.  "Here we are ! The main office should know you're coming. See you after School!" Arthur exclaimed as they pulled up to the curb of the high school.  With the most attitude his tiny human body Bellamy got out the car his back pack slung on his shoulder. He read the sign fronting the cluster of drab gray buildings , West High School. Now he had only one task,  to figure out what is a main office and where is it?
