The unexpected mate

Have you ever just been drawn to something and it just fascinates you so much that you feel like you should be that , well that is how the story begins. Hey there my name is Delilah Ann Harrison and I am 17 years old I have a little 10-year-old brother named Sebastian Cole Harrison and my parents are Adam Colton Harrison and Samantha Joe Harrison. You see I am fascinated by lycan's like you seeing the underworld movies and werewolves like in the Twilight saga. I am in my senior year of high school. It is nearing my lunch hour. Myself and a bunch of my friends will be meeting for lunch. There are around six of us in total. I must first make it through this hour. And this is algebra. And oh how I hate it but it's a requirement so I must. Finally the bell rings. Oh thank heavens I'm saved. I head out of the classroom down the hall to the cafeteria. At a round table at the back left corner there are all my friends. I go to the lunch bar to grab my lunch. I walk on over to the table and take my seat. "Hey guys" I say to my friends. "Hey Delilah how are you today." Sarah asks."I am good just glad to be out of algebra now I hate that class." I say to her. "Hey guys do you remember that old legend that the town elders talk about." Toby asks as he walks up and sits down. "Oh you mean the legend of the beast of clovelly valley." I ask. "Yeah the legend of the beast of Clovelly valley didn't you hear it like three nights ago. All the howling that broke through the night air that night. It was so loud. It continued until way late in the night. I was outside walking around the house when I heard it." Toby says. "Yeah I heard the howling as well I don't know late into the night it went but I heard it too through my window , it was open." Melissa said. "Yeah I heard the howling as well. Do you know the story about the beast of clovelly valley." I asked. "Some said they saw it, it's like a big wolf." Says Ryan. "Others say when they saw it. It stands on two feet. It can run on all fours but it's huge like 7 or 8 ft tall. With hair all over its body. His face is elongated but maybe 2 to 3 inches maybe 4 in. But no one really knows. It's all hearsay just a legend not sure if it's real or not." Says Stacy. "Well that's my cue I got to go guys. Got to head to gym class now. See you next time , have a good day."I tell them as I get up and take my tray to the drop off window. Then I head to gym class. As the last bell rings for the day. I gather my stuff and head out to the front of the school. We live in such a small town that we walk home from school. I get out a bit earlier than Bastion so I walk to Bastion's school and wait on him to get out of school. So we can walk home together it takes us around 10 to 15 minutes to make the walk both times. "Hey Bastion how was your day today." I ask him. "It was okay nothing out of the ordinary nothing new how was yours." He says. "Oh it was all right a few of my friends and I were talking about the legend of the beast of Clovelly valley at lunch." I tell him. After coming home from school Bastion and I make a snack , he likes peanut butter and jelly sandwiches so that is what we have with a glass of milk . We sit down and we visit for a bit before we go do our own thing. So I'm sitting in my room reading one of my many werewolf books I have. My little brother is watching cartoons. "Hey sis will you come watch cartoons with me." Bastian asked me. "Okay Bastion let me finish my chapter and I will." I tell him. So I finish it and head to the living room to watch cartoons with Bastion. He is a sweet kid and he sure loves his cartoons. I get to the living room and he is watching Felix and friends. As we are watching the cartoon we hear a car pull up I look over at Bastion and say "That must be Mom and Dad." Just as I say that the door opens. "Hey kids we're home." They say in unison. "Hey will you watch TV with us Mom and Dad". Bastion says as he runs to hug them both. As they came to sit on the couch , I asked "How was your day at work today". They say" It was long and tiresome but it was a good day." We live in Clovelly, England. Dad is a fisherman and Mom owns a little store. They work within 10 to 20 minutes from home. As late afternoon gives away too early evening Mom and I head to the kitchen to put something together for supper. We choose to make tater tot casserole and a salad. "Lilah will you set the table for me." Mom asked. So I set the table and after the table is set we bring the food to it. "Hey guys supper is done come and eat." Mom called my Dad and brother. We say grace over the meal and then begin to eat our meal. As we eat we all chat about our day and what we will be doing tomorrow. "It's Saturday tomorrow so I'm going to go jogging up on the trails." I told them. "That sounds nice just be careful Lilah." Mom said. "And what about you Bastion what are you going to do tomorrow." Mom asked. "Well Dad what will you be doing tomorrow are you going fishing , if so I would like to go with you Dad." Bastion said. "Yeah sure we can go fishing tomorrow if you like , sounds nice." Dad says. "What about you Mom what will you do tomorrow." I ask. "Well since everyone will be gone I may go to the shop and work for a few hours." Mom said." "Oh do you want me to go with you instead , Mom i will if you like." I asked. "No I will be fine , you go ahead and go and do your jog and I'll see you tomorrow evening." Mom said. "Okay I will , I love you Mom." I say. "As I love you also Lilah." Mom says to me. With supper done Bastion and myself clear the table and clean up the kitchen and wash the dishes. "Hey guys do we want to play Monopoly for a bit before we go to bed for some family time" mom asks us all. "Yeah that sounds like fun." We all say in unison. "I want the car game piece." Says Bastion. "And I want the dog game piece and which one do you want mom and dad." I say and ask Mom and Dad."I'll take the horse and rider." Dad says. "What about you Mom which one do you want."Bastion asks. "I want the thimble tonight." mom says. I go to my favorite places like I always do which is park place and boardwalk. Dad likes to go for the railroads and the utility slots in the game. Mom will probably go for Atlantic Avenue , Ventnor Avenue and Marvin Gardens that is what she always does. Bastion will most likely go for Connecticut Avenue , Vermont Avenue and Oriental Avenue. We all have our favorite places we go for when we play. But it is still fun just to have the time with the family. We play for a few hours before we get ready to turn in for bed. "Good night Mom , Dad and Bastion see you in the morning and love you guys so much." I say to my family and oh how I love them. Everyone says in unison."Good night Lilah and love you too see you in the morning. We all head to our rooms. I put in one of the underworld movies in my DVD player and started it. I go to my dresser and find a pair of sweats and a long t-shirt to wear for bed. I headed over to my bed and climbed in and tried as I may to go to sleep but no luck. I have jogged this route I plan to jog tomorrow so many times. I am excited to go , to get out of the house and to get some fresh air. But something feels off , something's not right and I have trouble going to sleep. So I fix my pillow behind my back and prop up against the head board of my bed to watch my movie. I finally got to sleep after several hours of trying. Just tossing and turning most of the night.
