“Wow, you look better today,” she never been that shy for this compliment to be tell at him. She gave him a smile and roamed her eyes from his head down to his toe. He is wearing plain black T-shirt and blue fitted jeans. His hair was well fixed with a gel. He looked like a supermodel of how he looks today. This is the first time she saw her with that kind of outfit. “I didn’t know you are such a beautiful supermodel.” He chuckled for the compliments he receiving from this wonderful woman in front of him. “Thanks, let’s go?” He was not comfortable for any compliments, especially when it comes to her lips. He might get blush if he did not end it. “Yes.” They reached his black four door sedan type car and ride there. “What makes special today?” Sofia opened a conversation with him while he was driving and she was sitting beside him. He’d mentioned her yesterday about the invitation but not the whole story about what makes the date today special and he believed himself she should be on that far about him. “Just special because of someone important to me.” “Oh, are we going to meet him or her today?” That question is a bit offending to him but he knew himself that is not what she aims to. He sighed and focused on the road. “No, Sofia. We are not going to meet anyone today, but will only visit some special places of me.” “Okay.” She took her phone out of her bag when it rang. “Oh, gosh! I forgot to tell Gab I cannot go to the company today,” she said after she read the text message she received from Gabriella. “Why? She can work without you.” “Yeah, but she has no one to eat lunch with.” She pouted her lips and shoved her phone back to her bag. She leaned her forehead on the glass window. He wagged his head. Human are often care about what will their peer might feel after what wrong they’d done. They often care about other’s opinion about their lives rather than to think of the things they will gain something from it. He hates people with that kind of attitude but when it comes to Sofia, he always found it cute. “She’s your best friend? Since when?” She looked at him feeling a bit better now since he asked a question. “Yes, one of my best friends. I only have two friends actually, but they are both genuine. They are the person I had left since my parents died because of an accident.” A sudden change from her expressions drew her face. She sighed deeply and looked back to the window view. He understands the reason of that sudden changes of her emotions. Sofia is a soft person that was so easy to be attach with and easy to break but regarding about his question, he wanted to know more about Gabriella that she mentioned. There is something wrong about this person that he was not comfortable with, but he has to keep it himself. He never got this kind of bothered feeling before. When Gab was near, he always feeling uncomfortable and wanted to take her away from his sight. “Uhm, Demire, I remember something.” She sat straight, leaned her back and stared at him when something came up to her mind regarding about their current topic Gabriella. “And what is it?” “I heard from Gab that you did not let her have an advance salary— uhm, don’t get me wrong, okay? Is just that I’m worried about the reason why you have to be m-mean at her that way.” She clasps her palms on the seatbelt. “I’m just really worried, because you are too—” “What do you mean?” He continued driving and looked at her on the rearview mirror with wonderment. “What are you talking about? She didn’t approach me for money—oh well, if she does, I will do the same thing that you said but not on that mean way you are talking about.” When they got stuck on the traffic and has to stop the car, he finally got the chance to look at her. She’s staring at him with tangled of lines on her forehead. “S-she didn’t ask for advance salary? But that was she told me?” “She didn’t.” He seemed to understand what’s happening but he does not want to tell it to her right now. “She didn’t approach me about that, okay? And I have no idea what she just told you about me, but I swear she didn’t.” He sighed and looked back on the road. Sofia started to think about that thing and finally realized what just Gab did to her. It was a first lie of her but she does not want to judge her that easy. She wanted to hear her explanation tomorrow. She already trusting her like her real family. She believed to have better explanation about it. “Then, she lied.” He shrugged his shoulder. What they had talked about now made him realized something, Gabriela does not like her and she can make a better story to ruin his name with Sofia. Now, he has to be more careful about that woman. And he has to keep Sofia away from that woman before it become too late for him.  She took a sigh and pouted her lips. "Where are going first?" She was trying to change their current topic.  "A farm."  "A farm? Wow! I like to go there."
