“Prepare for a lunch later, we need to attend an outdoor meeting.”
Sofia’s eyes widened as she heard what he said. “W-where are we going, Mr. Goddard?”
“You should know it. You are my secretary for God’s sake!” He massaged his temples. Talking to Sofia alone is stressful. He took the telephone on his table and dialed the number of one of his employees. “Clarise, can you give my current schedule to my new secretary? And please help her understand about her job, guide her.” He sighed again and again. “Go back to your table please.” He felt so annoyed but amused at the same time. How could she do that to him? He cannot get mad at her or even sounds like a yelling boss in front of her.
“O-okay, Mr. Goddard.” She bowed her head before she leaves his office.
“She’s absolutely retard and freak!” he whispered to himself as Sofia left his room. Suddenly his lips drew a smile and he has no idea for what is it. He couldn’t remember when was the last time he smiled. He can’t remember when but this was his first time again after a very long time. But why? What is this smile mean? He wouldn’t deny the attraction that Sofia giving him, but was it enough to make him smile? He shook his head to vanish his thoughts about her. He has to focus to work. He should be busier than last month he was, since this month is a huge month for his company. There were new products to be lunch these upcoming months and this month is the only month he could prepare for such of big preparation for those products. He’s living his life alone. He loves spending his precious time at work, in fact he’ll probably stay in his office than having fun with some human he met, and acknowledged him as their friends. He always had the thoughts ‘he does not belong to be with mortals’ but he’s definitely working with them. Apparently, he is the boss.
Sofia acted about kicking his door but she cannot do it of course. She loves her job, and that would be a bad idea if he kicked her out of the company for her second day. She sighed to relieve.
“Sofia,” someone called her name from behind.
“Hello.” She faced a twenty-six years old woman with its pink pony tail. She’s probably Clarise that Mr. Goddard called to help me.
“I am Clarise.”
“Oh, yeah. I’m expecting you.” She smiled at her and held her hand, but Clarise face grimaced as if she did something wrong to her. Clarise didn’t respond to her hand, she just stared at it for a moment. So, Sofia has no choice but to withdraw her hand. “O-okay.”
“Here it is.” She tossed the clipboard to her together with some documents. “Please study it carefully, I hate teaching someone to what they should do, that’s not included to my job. Tsk!” Clarise rolled her eyes and left her. This girl didn’t hesitate to show her its real color. This often happen to a newbie like Sofia, who often receives discrimination for their first month. But it wouldn’t ruin Sofia’s faith, she’ll stand straight and strong.
“That attitude is sucks!” Sofia narrowed he eyes watching Clarise walking away. She took a sigh and faced the stuffs that Clarise tossed her. She opened the clipboard and reads what inside of it. She found out it was Mr. Goddard schedule, and exactly like what he said, they have meeting today at two o’ clock in the afternoon. “Two o’ clock? Can I still call it lunch? Does it mean I can’t take lunch at twelve and wait for the lunch with them at two o’ clock?” She tapped her head of what she thoughted. “Is this for real?” Having the thought, she couldn’t eat at twelve made her dizzy already.

Twelve o’ clock. Goddard Company.
“Sofia, let’s go!” Gab greeted her, waving her hand to her while standing in front of her cubicle. “Are you sick?” Gab started worrying about her when she noticed her unpleasant looks. Gad touched her forehead to check if she has fever, and relieve when found out she has no fever.
“Yeah, I don’t have fever. Is just that I can’t eat my lunch, Gab.”
“Oh, why? You’re on diet?”
She wagged her head and faced Gab awful. She pouted her lips, there was hesitation if she has to tell her friend about the meeting later and she couldn’t eat at this hour.
“What’s with that face? You’re awful.” Gab chuckled. “Tell me what’s with that? Are you broken-hearted?”
She wagged her head again. “I can’t eat lunch. We will have meeting at two o’ clock.”
“And?”
“We will eat lunch together at two o’ clock.”
“Oh, that’s crazy! You’re hungry!” Gab scanned her. She has no energy left. It’s already twelve and Gab was so sure that she ate breakfast earlier than seven. “Would you like me to buy you some?”
“No, I’ll wait the lunch later.” She took her water tumbler. “I bet this will be fine.”
“You sure?”
She nodded and sipped her water tumbler. “Are you going out, can you do me a favor?”
“Sure, what is it?”
“Please, eat plenty for me!”
Gabriella laughed at what she said. “You’re crazy.” She didn’t stop laughing. “Why don’t you eat some, so at least your tummy wouldn’t ache.”
“I can’t, for sure I’ll ended up eating four cups of rice and unlimited chicken wings.” She imagined her eating plenty of her favorite foods.
“Would you come?” Gab asked her.
“No, I can’t stop myself from eating. And I don't want another embarrassment if I didn't follow Mr. Goddard today. We will have lunch later."
"Okay."
