I was now in a luxurious bedroom. I just finished showering a changed into some spare clothes they had for me.
My plan to take down the Alpha King's Pack, just went down hill. Especially now knowing that he's my mate. I can't kill him, nor can I hurt him. How the f**k am I suppose to show my loyalty towards the rouges if I can't kill the Alpha King?
My thoughts cam to a halt when someone knocked on the door.
"Come in." I said as I walked back and sat on the bed.
There cam in a young men, he looked around my age, maybe even a little younger?
"Sorry for the intrusion Luna, but Elijah had some things to attend to. I was ordered to check on you."
"What's your name?" I asked, completely ignoring he's little speech.
"Jace." He replied with a bow.
"Okay, here are some ground rules, Jace." I said glaring at him to see if I got he's attention before continuing. "First of all, my mother didn't name me Luna, she named me Adira. So use it." He looked shocked by my words, but continued to nod and listen. "Next thing, I don't' need or want a babysitter. Especially one that looks like they finished with toilet training." He looked irritated by my words. But bit he's tongue knowing he couldn't disrespect me.
"I came from orders from Alpha Elijah. I cannot leave unless I get the word from him,. So, if I was you I'd get used to having me around to, what did you say again? Oh, yeah. Babysit you." He smirked as he saw me frustrated about the situation.
"Well then Jake. Why don't you show me around. I don't think the Alpha would like the idea of you keeping me in a bedroom all day." I winked at him as I walked pass and out the door.
"It's Jace." He mumbled angrily. Making me smirk in satisfaction.
Jace took me around the pack grounds, introducing me to the new scenery. It was beautiful, I have to admit.
I looked over at Jace he looked deep in thought. Most probably mind-linking someone.
"Sorry, but would we be able to go to my parents house quickly? I need to do something that'll take just a couple seconds." I nodded. I mean I was getting bored anyway, miles well meet the beta family.
When we reached into the village, he lead us to a small white house on the far end.
He walked in and I followed Jace's lead as we went through the kitchen.
"Finally, can you come and fix this, I can't seem to work it." He's mother asked as she pointed to the TV.
I chuckled at the thought. Yup, old people. I guess she notice my chuckle when her eyes narrowed towards me.
"Who's your friend, dear?" She asked Jace as she kept her eyes glued to my figure.
"She's not my friend." He grumbled. "She's Elijah's mate." Jace's mother's eyes went wide. As she came closer towards me.
"Oh, thank goodness. I was starting to think Elijah was gay seeing he didn't have a mate yet, nor did he go near other women." I chuckled at her theory.
"Mom!" Jace yelled. I guess he yelled to loud, because he's farther came down the stairs glaring at us all.
"What's going on?" He asked as finally reached down the last steps. My mouth dropped open and my eyes went wide. It can't be, I mean I only ever had 1 photo of my dad I could be wrong.
"And who is this? One of your friends?" He's dad smirked while coming towards the room and putting he's arm around he's wife's waist.
Jace was about to answer, but I neat him to it.
"Hi." I greeted him with a smile. "I'm Adira, Adira Stodle." He's face dropped and he's eyes went wide. I guess it was he's turn to look shock. I would be happy to finally see my farther again, but seeing how he started a new life and forgot all about me, pissed me off. Did he even remember my mother? The one that died for he's child!
"Adira?" He whispered. Jace and he's mom, looked confused on what was going on. But I was pissed, and angry. And it was because of him. The only reason I was rouge was because of him! The reason I was alone was because of him! And all he's done was have another f*****g child!?
"Hello dad." I said through gritted teeth. I stormed out of the house, but not before catching the glimpse reaction from he's wife and son. They looked shocked.
I heard him calling for me but I ignored it as I shifted in the air and ran deep through the woods.
