A year later, after expanding money to put into, Tim finally developed his own division of the police squad (The Public Preservation Team) of the ALCPD (Aceland City Police Department), and was able to develop his own facility. He and his teammates would patrol each and every street in the city. Along with other utilities of his unit, Tim featured some highly intelligent mechanical robots he built from his lab in his house (that are built to help out each cop in his squad for urgent situations and other police officers as they are assigned to), as extra backup. When Tim was on his own, he would hover high in the air, viewing down below for inspection. As the squad receives the alert, Tim and his crew would prepare themselves by gearing up, load up their weapons and gadgets. They have been catching crime-scenes from the street; like the market, knocking loudly on the door of a storage-room and each and every crime-worker would run to the back door outside. As the crime-workers opened the door, Tim and one of his crew would block the entrance. A crime market-manager tried to take a punch as he attacked, but Tim moved as he hovered and punched the market-manager in the face, all the way to the wall. The crime-workers had their guns out and started shooting from the shopping area of the market, and Tim's crew started to duck down (as he ordered), then started to charge at the workers that were shooting at him as shots were blown past him and a couple of bullets were deflected by him, then Tim shot flames of fire from his fist, straight at the guns that the crime-workers were holding, and they exploded along with the crime-workers as one was blown to the ceiling and slammed back down on his chest as he landed, and the other one was blown far to the window he crashed. One crime-worker came out of the storage room, getting ready to fight. He tried to fight one of the cops, but the cop blocked his punch, kicked the crime-worker in the chest, then jump-kicked him in the face and the crime-worker was pushed down to the floor.
Meanwhile, outside in the streets, several guys would sell bags and packs of drugs for others to smoke, especially by impacting the kids with pressure on them, and the officers of the Public Preservation would spot them and drift to a stop in the squad-cars. The drug-dealer tried to run, but one officer tackled him and shouted "DON'T TRY AND WEASEL YOUR WAY OUT AND KEEP YOUR ASS STILL!". The other drug-dealer took a swing at the officer, but the officer blocked the punch and placed him on the ground by the back. One other drug-dealer took out his gun, but one of Tim's mechanical robots slammed the drug-dealer in the back and knocked him down to the floor as the mechanical-robot landed.
During their spare time, Tim and his group of officers would either sit in the vehicle, or stand near it, in the parking area with their snacks of fries as they chat and entertain each other.
In the PPT (Public Preservation Team) facility, Tim and his crew were engaging in conversation and chatting, while Tim and one of his crew (David) were both talking to each other.
"I have worked as a security once," said David. "Two locations. One at the super-market and one at the university campus."
"Cool." said Tim. "How did guarding 2 locations went?"
"It's an ass-buster. As the salaries were good, I was able to complete some duties. Weird times back then too. One time, I had to arrest a girl that was so damn drunk, she tried to slap my face off, which explains why she kept repeating 'I'm only 6 sir, I'm a kid' when the psycho is like what, 40?"
"Damn. They're seriously turning the store into a crackhouse disatser or whatever they're doing, bringing and allowing customers to steal products like that. How were they not even aware?"
"Right? But either way, I blocked her punch and we both had to place her down on the ground to keep her from doing anything else crazy. She vomited when we took her to the car."
"Jesus, man."
"Yeah. But those jobs were good. I got more exercise, fighting to the top, not letting doubts hit me. I thought it was even good for myself too. Apparently, my family took that as a joke. Even as I proved to them I was the best, they all looked at me as a disgrace. Especially my older friends and others that were close to me. They assume I would always be weak, always be a dumbass. But I didn't care. I was like 'screw 'em anyways'. The job I had was the real me, and always will be."
"......My bro, you only worked as a security." Tim replied as a joke.
"'What the hell ever'." mocked David with a chuckle.
"Ey I'm kiddin'. Plus, I know what that's like, believe me, I would be ripped in pieces if I didn't have that stabilizer in me right now."
David laughed.
"But still, it's like it changed me more than physically. I've been thinking that I can't fall back to depression anymore. Of course, that bites deep in the ass. But as I held the Gennorsa-Stabilizer in me, I thought it's worth fighting than staying back. I wish I would've thought of that without having the stabilizer. But I can't fall back anymore. I have to build myself to success and keep fighting as I stand. I don't rely too much on my powers, that's for sure."
"That's the point of human being, all right. Fighting through pain to win."
"Right. The only way to win. The only key to reach the top."
Both Tim and David agreed as they continued chatting and also laughing with each other.
Next day, in the ALCDP, Chief Williams received a link of 911 emergency calls, as Tim was getting a drink of water.
"Shadow, may I see you?" Williams asked Tim.
"Sure. What is it?" Tim asked.
"We received a call from Nollson Industry, a corporation used to produce mechanical objects. Right now, Nollson's equipment was stolen after his lab was trashed, according to the video."
Williams showed Tim the security video; showing Dan Nollson and his associate, saying "I'm gonna make this damn thing better than you ever had the moment you started this crap dump. You'll thank me later" and Nollson replied "For hell I am", walking up to the associate and the associate punched Nollson as Nollson was pushed to the ground, then his associate walking away as his own associates were heard entering the room and then seen in the video, smashing everything apart and taking the rocket missiles.
Tim and Williams saw everything in the video.
"So apparently," said Tim. "Nollson was developing something in his industry but his workers hated his ideas and robbed him. And meanwhile, those people that stole the missiles, still have it."
"Exactly." said Williams. "But right now, the lab needs to be inspected and examined in the industry for any information of the scene."
"Me and my crew will be on top of this situation until it's done, chief. Trust us."
So Tim went to his facility to alert them about the situation in the Nollson Industry.
In the Nollson Industry, in the lab, Tim and his crew were inspecting the entire lab as some officers were examining the industry-equipment and the research-environment. Tim and a couple of officers with him were receiving information from Dan Nollson (the head of the corporation).
"It's disgraceful." Nollson spoke with a furious expression. "My ideas and efforts I took months in this project. Months! Now one employees betrays me and I had to watch my own valuable items taken away from. They're probably wrecking my formation and ripping them off, Who Knows What the hell they're doing with it!?"
"And based on the security video you sent us," Tim brought up. "your employee-"
"Felix."
"Right. Well Felix basically stole your equipment just to produce the best value than you?"
"He said that he can make better production than my corporation, after spitting on my formula of my project."
While Nollson was explaining the story, one person creeped in the shade of the hallway, unseen, and stalked through the inspection of the lab as he eavesdropped. Then he took out his device, aimed at Tim, then activated a scan on him from the device. After he scanned him, the results on the screen listed all of his DNA of Tim's superpowers; showing the details of the Genorssa-Stabilizer contained in Tim's body and showing where that stabilizer was from, out of this planet. As the imposter got the information he needed, he left out of site.
Meanwhile in the lab.
"And what's the project called?" Tim asked.
"The SWEEP project." Nollson answered. "A missle that contains clean anit-air-pollution chemicals, which can kill toxic air into cleaner enviroments. This was suppose to be sold today."
"Well I can assure you, we'll get your project back and ready as we find it and return you the..... SWEEP." Tim pondered about the project name but only for a short time.
"Please do, Rapid Shadow." said Nollson. "This project is a government supply. Without the SWEEP, my business will break in pieces."
"Don't worry." said Jakup (another officer). "Trust us. We'll keep your business safe as we'll try."
After the officers were done inspecting, Tim and his officers left the room while Nollson watched them walking out.
