It Begins.
A child without Love, is child heading to chaos.  He sits by the window, as his eyes shine in wonder, as they looked from his desk clock to the drive outside, Mr. and Mrs. Scott were going to appear in any minute and Jonathan waited in suspense. He saw them in his mind as they got out of the car and looked up to his room and smiled, his heart beat faster as he became more excited. He couldn't wait to run into their arms and hug them tightly, it has been two months and they had promised to be home for his eleventh birthday.  Rose made her way up to Jonathan's room, her heart sunk to the bottom of her stomach, her palms sweaty and she was already at the brink of tears. She didn't know what else to tell her ward and she hated seeing him upset and heartbroken every time, his parents cancelled on him last minute again. She didn't want to tell him the same excuse over and over again. Work Emergency. She went to his room and stood by the door, she looks at Jonathan, pressed up against the window with a smile on his face, she bit her lip as she wanted to let out a cry of despair. He senses her presence and turns his head to look at her, she quickly plastered a smile on her face, he searched her eyes, his smile fading, she opened her mouth to speak but he quickly looks away, not wanting to hear the same excuses, he looks to the open blue skies as tears begin to form in his eyes. Thoughts fill his mind as he thinks if he was less important than some stupid bank. His eyes darkened, his hands ball up into fists, he got off the window seat and stormed towards the door, slamming the door in Rose's face. "Jonathan" Rose called out, tapping the door he locked the door and leaned his head against it, his heart heavy. He let out a scream and kicked the door,  "Jonathan!" Rose yelled desperately, as she abruptly twisted and shook the knob, trying to get in. "Open the door, please open the door". He sank to the floor and curled into a ball, darkness filled the atmosphere as it wrapped him into its hold, exhaustion washing over him. Apart of him knew, they would not come, he hoped and wished and even prayed...He was wrong.  Again. *** "Jonathan?" He turned to see Rose standing by the door with a small smile, he sighed and looked back into the mirror, he straightened his tie.  "what is it Rose?" he said sternly  "Your mother called-" "I'm not interested Rose" he snapped , stopping her midway, she fully entered the room and walked closer to him, turning him around and adjusted his tie properly "she wishes you a happy first day to school Jonathan" she says softly he ignored her, she brushed off his shoulders and smiled at the little boy she raised, he looked down at her and gave a little smile back, he leaned in and gave her a tight brief hug.  "I'm leaving now" he pulled away and turned to grab his bag on his bed, he walked towards the door,  "oh and Jonathan?"  he stopped, looking over his shoulder "yeah?" "could you tell Spencer not bring girls into the pool house, I hardly slept a wink last night" she said annoyed  he laughed, nodding "sure thing" he said his goodbye once again and turned to leave "HAVE A GREAT FIRST DAY OF SENIOR YEAR!" she cried. *** Spencer had his feet on the dash board, with the music pounding against the air, he tapped his legs to the beat of the rap, Jonathan got into the car with a smirk on his face. He started up the car and joined into Eminem's biggest hit, they drove out of the garage with their lungs straining.  The Scotts owned seven acres of land on which their mansion stood proudly on, they were the second richest family to be living in Layne Valley, Jonathan's parents had 2 acres of vineyards and manufactured their wines in their own business, which grew to be the biggest wine export there was. Mr. Scott also owned four banks, two in the states, one in Belgium and the other in France, he was a very busy man and he did all he could do to keep his business running swiftly and smoothly. Mrs. Sandra Scott was an artist who travelled along side her husband and painted portraits from different countries they visited. "It is for the arts" as she would always say when she said goodbye to her son, Jonathan didn't understand why he was left alone in such a young age, his mother could easily stay home with him whilst his Father would be travelling, he sooner learnt that his mother loved his father more she loved him. And that was the most obvious and reasonable reason of all. Rose and Spencer were the only people he cared about, he still loved his parents but how could you abundantly love someone who couldn't stay longer than a day by your side? Jonathan met Spencer when he was thirteen years old, his parents thought he'd be better off with kids his own age rather than having to see Mr. Jenkins' cracked, wrinkly face for the rest of his junior years. They got him to private school where he met Spencer Eyre, son of a Doctor and a teacher.  *** Jonathan watched the ocean of kids walk around in a bustle, talking and laughing, eating and yelling, he felt a surge of nervousness course through him, he swallowed the lump in his throat and slowly made his way to an empty table, he sat down with his tray and began unwrapping his cheeseburger, he sunk his teeth into the sesame bun, his eyes look up and see a boy watching him  intently from the opposite table, his eyes fixed on his burger. Jonathan bit off the side he bit into and sat the burger down, he looked back to see him but he disappeared, he looked around the room in confusion. "Hey" Jonathan looked to his right, the boy sits down, placing his lunch box before him, he stretches out his hand, "I'm Spencer", Jonathan looked at his hand, then back at him, Spencer waited patiently then with a deep sigh took his hand and put it to his own and shook it, Jonathan stared at Spencer, in confusion and awe, "let's make a deal" he spoke out confidently, pulling his chair in, he opens his lunchbox and slides it over to him, Jonathan looks into the lunch box and eyes the sandwich, apple slices, strawberries and a celery sticks. "I haven't eaten a hamburger since last year!" he protested falling back into his seat in the most dramatic way, he looks at Jonathan's burger, his stomach growls in the moment. Jonathan pushed his tray towards him and takes Spencer's lunch box, devouring the sandwich, Spencer's eyes lit up, he grabbed the burger and moved it to his lips,  "Spencer Eyre!"  he froze and turned around to see Mrs. Hanes from the entrance, "is that a burger?!" she cried pointing at him, she makes her way through the busy hall, he quickly gets up, with the burger tight in his grasp and dashes out. Jonathan watched him run across the hall to the exit on the other side, Mrs. Hanes's voice echoing as she yells out his name.  Spencer, having a mother as a Doctor, he was chained to a life long of healthy nutritious meals and no fast foods. His mother was determined to keep her son healthy and far from any non communicable and communicable diseases and so forth. Since Mrs. Hanes was on the weeks cafeteria duty, she had to watch little Mr. Eyre stick to his own lunch box and not destroy his diet plan.  For weeks on end, the two exchanged lunches, in secret. Jonathan enjoyed Spencer's healthy lunches but didn't show it, he never had meals made by his Mum before and he envied Spencer for having such a mother as Mrs. Eyre. After weeks, they became closer than ever, they became best friends and Spencer's diet plan was dismantled forever.  *** "You got to go home bro" Spencer sighed, shaking his head "My Mum's crazy " he said frustrated "she told me to follow my dreams than ended up telling me to be a Doctor like her or a Professor like Dad" Jonathan chuckled as he turned into Hail Street "at least she's giving you options" Spencer groaned, he turned the radio up, drowning Jonathan's chuckle out.  "...a black SUV skied off the road and tumbled down the side of Garret Hill, the driver has been taken to St. Mathew's Hospital for immediate care..." "damn, another accident" Spencer changes the station, Jonathan sighed, clenching the wheels tightly  "it is what it is".  After 30 minutes of the car ride, they finally reached Weatherly Prep, a few minutes out of town. It was a private school for well off pupils who had parents who could pay eleven thousand per year to get their kids brain's up and running. The school was big enough for the entire state, indoor pool and outdoor pool, two tennis courts, three fields for lacrosse, football and soccer, a state of the art auditorium, a gym, a fancy British designed library, a massive hall sized cafeteria serving the most lavish meals and the list goes on. The school was to prepare it's students for everything, their aim was to have their students believe they could anything if they have the proper training.  Weatherly Prep, school for the rich snobs and the obtuse.
