Aarav removed his gloves, mask and surgical cap; taking off his surgical gown and throwing it in the basket; he washed his hands. He walked out of the hall and threw his shoe cover in a bin. He walked inside his cabin and wore his white lab coat and wrapped a stethoscope around his neck. Walking out of the cabin, a trainee handed him the clipboard of the patient report. He had four boys and two girls working under him as he started walking through the halls and checking on patients. He checked their levels and, on the way, also taught his trainees. He looked at his last patient, an old man lying in paralyzed condition. The nurse who was looking after the old man nodded at Aarav and walked out with the trainees. He looked at the man’s vitals which seemed good enough. He took a seat as he looked at the clipboard and looked at the man’s report. Keeping the clipboard aside, he looked at the wrinkled-up face of the man and smiled widely. “You surely are trying your hardest to keep living huh.”; He commented as the old man’s eyes widened hearing the voice because he could not even turn his face to look at the man. Aarav got up and leaned over to for the man see. His smile widened even more when he saw the old man’s eyes widened even more. “Having fun?”; Aarav teased as the man’s body shivered a little. He looked down and saw the old man’s pants were now wet. He scrunched his nose in disgust before chuckling a little. “Aww, you wet yourself. Now, now bad kids get punishments~”; Aarav said in a teasing voice as the man tried to speak but could not. Aarav chuckled; he was feeling good seeing this man in such pathetic state. “Do you want to die?”; Aarav asked as the man’s eyes watered in a pathetic state. He wanted to die, he wanted to be free. Death is better than living in such a pathetic state. “Oh, you do. Sorry, I can’t grant you this wish, because I have to keep my promise to you. Remember, when I promised you that I will make your life a living hell. Enjoy~”; Aarav said before he picked up the clipboard and walked out of the room leaving the man who wished nothing but to die. …………………………….. Aahana walked inside her office as her assistant came in behind her. She looked at the forty-year-old man who was sweating buckets. “What?”; She questioned him. “Boss is here.”; He said, making Aahana look at him with raised eyebrows. She shook her head before taking the files and entering inside the meeting room. She saw that the meeting room was arranged making her nod. “Go and call him.”; She said to Mr. Gupta, who nodded and walked away. He can never understand how the hell, girl, this young, can handle a man who surely seems to have anger issues. He walked to the office, before taking a deep breath. He knocked on the door, making the man inside the office permit him to enter. He entered seeing a man in his late twenties; he had a good tan and chiselled jaw line. His hair was gelled elegantly as his grey suit made his muscles bulge out. “Sir, Meeting is ready.”; Mr. Gupta said as the man got up making him who was just five feet six look at the six-foot man. The man buttoned up his suit as he looked at Mr. Gupta. “She is here?”; He questioned as Mr. Gupta nodded. He nodded and walked out of the office with Mr. Gupta and his own assistant Mrs. Bansal walking behind him. He opened the door as he saw everyone from the management team sitting in their place. They stood up when he entered, all three of them took their places as well. His eyes went on Aahana who was sitting directly opposite to him at the head of the table. He really likes her guts, but is not because she is ‘different’ no; it is because she does her work brilliantly. Her arrogance is justified because her work is perfect. He has got many deals because of her and therefore always make sure to give her increment. He cannot let her leave the company; she is a very precious asset. The meeting started, while Aahana just sat there and looked at the presentation knowing very well that her boss was drilling hole in her head. She felt her mobile, vibrating, making her look at the caller. She frowned seeing ‘UNKNOWN’ and sighed and ignored the call before the vibrations stopped. Within a minute the mobile started vibrating again making her annoyed before she read the name of the caller. ‘BROTHER’, she frowned, making her lift her phone from the table before getting up. “Excuse me.”; She said and walked out not caring that everyone was looking at her. She picked up the call before shutting the door behind her and walking away. “What?”; She asked. “Did you get the call?”; Aarav asked her as he combed his hair back sitting in his chair. “I did not pick it up. I am in a meeting.”; She answered making him ‘hmm’. “They are begging for us. It seems something important has come.”; He said as Aahana narrowed her eyes. “You never cared, why now? What are they blackmailing us with, this time?”; She asked as Aarav sighed. “They have the video of you killing those men. It will be troublesome if it is leaked, people will know about us and that will be bad.”; He said as Aahana eyes darkened hearing it. “Okay, we will go.”; She said as she looked back at the meeting. “Pick me up on the way, my car’s tire has been punctured on the way.”; He said as Aahana agreed. Aahana cut the call before moving to her cabin and taking her wallet and car keys. She walked out of the office and was about to get in the elevator. “You are leaving the meeting in between without even informing me.” Aahana looked back at the CEO. “I have some urgent matter to attend to Mr. Oberoi.”; She said with a calm expression making him narrow his eyes. “You are hiding something Aahana, but I don’t care about it. I have always tolerated your arrogance, but I won’t tolerate you disrespect me; I am your BOSS.”; He said with a stern expression making Aahana chuckle. “Fire me”; She said as she entered into the elevator and pressed the button, she smirked seeing him clench his teeth in anger, as the door closed. She cannot believe that man thought he could intimidate her, pfft; so funny. People are so ignorant of the things that can actually take their life and make them missing for life. ………………………………………………………………………………. Somewhere else…   The man with blond-haired man looked at the priest with hopeful bright green eyes. His two sons stood behind him with hopeful expressions, they feel pity, anger, guilt and much more. “Archbishop will attend you now.”; The priest in the light grey robe said as he led the way as three of them gulped before following him. The priest knocked the door before opening the door and gesturing them to enter, just as they did, the door closed behind them. They were in a preaching hall; everything was white and cream coloured except the benches which was brown in colour. At the end of the hall there was a podium where the Archduke would stand and give sermons or bless people but there was no one. The sons narrowed their eyes and held their swords tightly, ready for any surprise attack. They heard a door open from the front, but before the man, even walked out, he spoke up, as if he could sense their guarded nature. “I won’t harm you, Archduke.” The blond-haired man looked up at the man who walked out of the door. His eyes narrowed, while his hands were clenched in anger. Both of the sons’ grip tightened when they saw the man, they wanted nothing but to end this man’s life. “Come on, Lord Griffith, don’t show me such a hateful expression. I am guilty of sin, but you are no different.”; The man said as his bright cyan lit up seeing them. His pure white waist length long hair complimented his white hair while his body muscles were hidden well within the white robe. He looked at them with a small smile as he walked and stood behind the podium. Archduke Griffith looked at the Archbishop with widened eyes as the man chuckled lightly and nodded at the unasked question of the man. “Yes, My Lord; I remember everything. It seems this is the way; Goddess wants to punish us. She wants us to live our lives in guilt that will slowly eat us inside till there is nothing left. We remember our mistakes, our sins only when we don’t have any way to repent.”; The man continued as the sons’ narrowed their eyes at the man, not believing even for a second that this man can actually feel any kind of emotions. “Why did you become the Archbishop, Eugene Floyd Axton. If I am not wrong, you always hated this position.”; Archduke Griffith said as Eugene chuckled and nodded. “Yes, you are right; My Lord. But this is the only way I could find any kind of information to the secret information of the church.”; Eugene replied as Archduke Griffith narrowed his eyes. “What do you mean?”; The eldest son of Archduke Griffith spoke up as Eugene looked at the pink haired man who was looking at him with hateful expression. “I am hurt, by your expression Samuel. I thought we were friends; we have always been friends.”; Eugene spoke up as Samuel looked away from the man. “Don’t call me by my first name, we are not friends now. And making you my friend was the biggest mistake I ever made.”; Samuel said as Eugene gave him a mocking smile. “Oh, and why is that? Because of what I did in the past. Please that would have not happened, if you would have been a better brother and if I remember correctly, you knew what I was doing but you never stopped me.”; Eugene spoke up making Samuel look down in shame. “And I am your last hope, to set it all right.”; Eugene said making the three men look at him with questioning eyes. “Well, you see, the church sure is corrupt now. But when it was established, the priest really did serve the Goddess and everyone and those priests did get the knowledge beyond anyone’s imagination.”; Eugene said satisfied with the look of curiosity on their faces. “That never surfaced before.”; Samuel said as the other two nodded their head. They all remember their last three lives. Eugene nodded and sighed. “That is because the books that hold that information were sealed in the vault. Only the real heir of light magic can open it. And thankfully, I am the real heir.”; he said making the other men narrow their eyes but waited for him to continue. “I did find a book, which can happen. It’s a very pure method, which was actually given as a gift from Goddess to the very first Archbishop. A method to bring one’s loved ones back.”; Eugene said as their eyes widened. “We can do it!! WE CAN FINALLY DO IT!!”; The youngest one shouted in making Archduke Griffith look at him with a stern expression. “Control your excitement, Michael.” Michael stopped and cleared his throat. “But there is a catch.”; Eugene said as all three looked at him. “If it is sacrifice, I will can be one.”; Archduke Griffith said without hesitation as Eugene shook his head. “No, there is no sacrifice needed. As I said it was given by Goddess, Herself, but it can only be applied to the people who are living.”; Eugene said as all three of them looked in a confused manner. “When a person died, their soul surely gets reincarnated, but it does not mean that they will be reincarnated in the same world. It could also mean that they could be in entirely different dimensions.”; He said making them look at him in confusion. “What if there is no different dimension, what if she really dead.”; Samuel said making Eugene shrug. “This is the only option. If she is alive somewhere, we could bring her back. If you guys have any other ideas, I am all ears.”; Eugene commented but they knew that this is the only chance for them to have her back.  ............................................
