    The sound of Aron’s wristwatch alarm went off at 5:30 AM. Nevaeh felt him shift a little as he held her, bringing his arm up a little to tap at it, stopping the shrilling noise. Throughout the crypt, various other alarms were being silenced as well. Even though she was now already awake, Aron rubbed her back a moment as he held her, his lips roaming across her forehead as he kissed it, trying to stir her further.     “Wake up, ma beauté,” he hushed into her ear. “We need to get moving.” Aron slid off the side of the slab and helped her sit up.
