Losing the Lycan Brenden in such a horrific way, nearly losing Sébastien and Levi, and then Nevaeh’s entrapment had made them all too vigilant now. Knowing those who constructed Cian’s temple, or maybe it was even Cian himself, had wanted to ensure the protection of him and his family’s final resting place, and possible treasures, and was evident in every pitfall.
