Odessa walked naked into the warm water in her bathtub. Her long, curly golden hair cascaded her back like a waterfall, and her blue eyes sparkled. She had a pointed nose that fitted her oval face, and her pink lips were inviting.
She turned the tap on and sat in the bathtub as the water flowed. She allowed the water to get to her breasts before turning it off.
She closed her eyes, letting out a soft sigh as she sank deeper, soaking her hair.
She took her head out of the water, and her long, golden hair floated around her.
As she relaxed, her full breasts rose and fell with each breath, their gentle sway creating ripples in the water. Her soft, pink n*****s peaked above the surface; it was inviting.
She picked up her soap and began rubbing it on her body; her slender fingers trailed across her skin, sending shivers down her spine as she explored the contours of her own body.
As she washed herself, her thoughts drifted away. She remembered her kiss with Ryker, the son of their Alpha. She remembered the soft, warm pressure of his lips on hers, the gentle caress of his fingers on her skin, and the sweet taste of his breath mingling with hers. She could almost feel the tender touch of his mouth all over again.
She felt the way his arms cradled her, holding her close as if he'd never let her go. It was her first kiss. Time stood still as Odessa relived the kiss, her body responding as if it were happening all over again.
Odessa lay in the bathtub; the warm water enveloped her, easing the tension in her muscles while her eyes remained closed.
Suddenly, the air seemed to vibrate with extraordinary energy, and the water began to shake. Odessa's eyes snapped open, and to her surprise, smoke was emerging from the water like it was steaming, yet she wasn't feeling the heat.
Fear crept in as she tried to scream, but a voice calmed her down.
“Odessa, daughter of the moon,” a voice called out.
She looked up and saw a lady materializing in a shaft of silver light. She had white hair that cascaded down her back. Her white gown was sweeping the floor as she walked closer to the bathtub.
Odessa began to shiver; her heart skipped a beat as she scrambled to sit up, and the water began splashing around her.
“Who are you?” Odessa asked, shivering.
The lady smiled; her beauty was beyond imagination. “Diana, the moon goddess.”
Odessa stood still immediately and bowed her head. It wasn't believable, but she couldn't risk disrespecting the moon goddess.
“Some say you're but a myth,” Odessa said with her head still facing the water.
“Child, your destiny awaits you, you who will unite the twelve packs under your rule for what's to come.” Her voice echoed.
Odessa's eyes widened, and her mind raced with questions. “I don't understand what rule?” Odessa voiced out in confusion.
“What's to come cannot be fought divided. The wolves must come together; I have blessed you with the ability to lead them and win this war.”
The moon goddess continued.
As she spoke, Odessa felt a shiver run down her spine; she couldn't comprehend what she was saying.
“I still don't understand.”
“I shall guide you, for you're my chosen, Odessa.” And with that, the goddess vanished, leaving Odessa to ponder the weight of her newfound responsibility.
She raised her head and saw no one; the moon goddess had disappeared. She looked around in search of her, but she was nowhere to be found. She couldn't comprehend what had just happened.
The water became calm once more. She quickly stepped out of the water, and at that moment, she began to hear disturbing noises. She closed her ear, but the noise grew louder.
Before she could understand the situation, she woke up from her deep slumber. The disturbing noise was her alarm clock. It was 6:00 a.m.
She quickly rushed into the bathroom, despite taking a bath in her dreams. She brushed her teeth and took her bath. She wore her clothes and dressed her hair.
Odessa was a beautiful eighteen-year-old girl. She wore her golden hair in a ponytail, which made her look more beautiful as her oval-shaped face gleamed with her smile. Her blue eyes were dashing and inviting.
She stood before her mirror and adjusted her pink skirt, which revealed her curves. She remembered Ryker's lips on hers and smiled profoundly.
She hurriedly exited her room and walked to the dining room, where her elder brother, mother, and father were already seated.
“You're late again,” Samson, her elder brother, reminded her.
“I'm not yet used to this,” she said and sat down. “Good morning, mom, good morning, dad,” she smiled at her father, who was glaring at her profusely.
“If you are ever going to be chosen to be Ryker's mate, it means you will one day be the Luna of our park; waking up on time should be your nolmacy,” her mother said softly.
“Not when I'm Luna,” Odessa chuckled in laughter.
The father suddenly hit his hands on the dining table. His expression was resolute; he was obviously angry. “Enough of this childish behavior! You're no longer a child for crying out loud!!”
There was absolute silence; one could hear the sound of a pin if it had dropped at that moment. Odessa's father saw the fear in her eyes; it was justified.
“Your nineteenth birthday is tomorrow; you will shift and become Ryker's mate. That alone brings a lot of responsibilities on your head; you can't keep acting like a child anymore,” the father continued.
She remembered Ryker's lips on hers again, the pleasure she felt. She began smiling, and everyone at the table was astonished.
“What's amusing you?” Samson asked.
She composed herself immediately; she scratched her head after realising how stupid she must have looked, smiling like that.
“I'm sorry, I'm just glad I will be Ryker's mate,” she began eating her food.
After her meal, she pecked her mother goodbye and waved to her father. She ran to her best friend's place; she needed someone to narrate her first kiss to.
While running, she tried crossing the road, and a Mercedes-Benz hit her. She fell and remained still on the floor with her eyes closed.
A 25-year-old handsome man came out of the car and rushed to her. He checked her pulse to be certain she was alive.
At that moment, she opened her eyes slowly; all she could see before her was Ryker. She slowly massaged his cheeks, and this astonished the thirty-year-old man.
“I can't seem to forget our first kiss, Ryker,” she whispered to the stranger and brought her lips forward to the young man.
It was tempting to him, as the girl before him was a beauty to behold.
But before he could react to her actions, she kissed him. His heart raced with excitement as he felt the soft brush of her lips against his, but he knew it wasn't right, so he let go and grabbed her.
“I'm not Ryker,” he notified her.
She saw clearly at that moment that she had kissed a stranger, and she felt ashamed.
“I'm so sorry,” she said, unable to look him in the eyes.
She ran away before he could even utter a word.
The man smiled and entered his car. He drove off smiling.
