Brooklyn
I glanced back, looking towards the black car idling by the curb, and locked my gaze on Carter who was casually leaning against it. His hands were tucked into his pockets as he had this-way too hot to be real-look about him that caused my stomach to flip.
His mouth slowly tilted into a smile, revealing his perfectly white that had my heart leaping into my throat. I swear my lips were still tingling from the kiss he had just given me. It wasn’t as intense as the one we shared earlier, but it had just as much of an impact. I felt like I was walking on air at this point.
“Careful.” Carter suddenly yelled towards me, causing my brow to furrow as I quickly turned my head forward, catching myself just before I ran right into the door that was now in front of me.
