FEBRUARY–8 YEARS OLD
Audrey and I got to take off for two whole weeks in the middle of school to go to Tennessee to see Momma’s Aunt Claudia and Uncle Dan. Daddy said Momma was missing them real bad and she needed to be there, so we went.
We went shopping for new clothes because it was going to be really, really cold there. We had to buy big suits that looked like coats for our whole body. Daddy said we are all spoiled living here because it never really gets that cold.
Sophia came too, and she didn’t yell so much. I liked her a lot better. She seemed happy and we sang and played games in the car all the way up there. We hadn’t seen her since Momma and her had that big fight before Christmas.
