GOODBYE
Saying goodbye is always hard,
When you do truly care for someone,
But you aren’t doing them
Or yourself any favors by just holding on.
If you worry you may hurt them
By telling them goodbye,
Just think how much you’re hurting them
By having them live a lie.
I’ve heard it said you’ll hurt a few,
They will hurt you too,
On the path to finding that one special one
That is meant just for you.
So, let go as soon as you know you should,
No matter how great they are,
So they can move on, just like you,
And make a brand new start.
It doesn’t have to end with a fight
Or you hating each other.
Talk it out, soon you may see
You’re not meant for one another.
When you let go be thankful
That each of you will find,
