AUGUST-16 YEARS OLD
“We never see you anymore though! Where were you all summer, Kelly? You were always with James!” Ana screams at me. “We thought once school started back it would be different but two weeks in and it’s still the same!”
“Please stop yelling at me,” I look around at all the kids in the commons staring at us. I don’t miss school at all. I want to be back on the beach with James.
“It doesn’t matter anyway!” She storms away before I could say anything else to her.
