MARCH-15 YEARS OLD
Ana met me and Christine at our locker after third hour to gossip about everything she’d heard in P.E., as usual. Even though I constantly reminded her that not all gossip is true, she liked the controversy too much to stop. Audrey showed up just in time to make a face behind Ana’s back. Audrey didn’t like Ana, but she dealt with her for me.
“Come with us. Mom’s driving and we have one space left! Come on, it’s girls night out!” Ana screeched.
Audrey rolled her eyes.
“Ana, you know my mom doesn’t let me go places like that.”
“Kelly! You don’t even ask anymore! It’s just a movie!”
“Yes, and I don’t have to ask, I know the answer already.”
“That doesn’t make any sense. My mom’s gonna be there with us!” she screeched again.
