Dawn creeped slowly as Alex couldn't get her mind off Piers or what the werewolf had said about him concerning her. She imagined it was lying to her, trying to play clever and deceive her while another part of her wanted to believe it was telling the truth. She turned on the small bed where she laid. She was also worried about Piers. The full extent of the werewolf's control over him was still unknown to her but she knew it was extensive. She wished dawn could come sooner, so she could race back to the mansion and see if he was fine. She turned one more time, unable to sleep peacefully. "I can't fall asleep too", Arthur said, from where he lay opposite her. She was surprised he was still awake, she thought he had fallen asleep hours ago. "Your uneasiness is making me uneasy", he said.
