"Here you go", Ruth said, giving Alex what she had fixed for her for lunch. She had asked Roland to excuse them in the dining room to have some private time together.
"Thank you for the Ham sandwich and orange juice", Alex responded. She was grateful for her effort to help her eat.
"You are welcome Alex. I hope you like it. Just something I used to make a lot for the twins when they were still little and they loved it very much", Ruth said delightedly.
Alex settled for a bite of her sandwich and it did taste really good.
"This is delicious!", she said, surprised. She knew it would be good but didn't know it would taste this good. Suddenly her appetite had returned and she felt like she could eat the whole house.
