Alex had been awake for more than 5 hours now and the time was approaching 3 PM. She was watching Piers on one hand from time to time while she was also on Netflix on her iPhone, watching the latest shows.
She looked up at Piers, as she saw him get up from his seat for the first time in hours, as he closed his laptop.
"It's late, I think it's time I get some sleep", he said, looking at her.
"Are you done reading the emails from work?", she asked, wanting to check his progress.
"Yes, I am all done. All that is left to do now is sleep", he said, as he sat at the right hand side of the bed.
"How come you are still awake?", he asked her.
