CHAPTER 14King Tob Returns
Tob was back! The treacherous chavas was here now in my very own chamber in my own palace, and he had come with a group of Winged-men to carry out his plan to apparently assassinate me!
I grew red with rage and came at him and his men with death on the point of my blade and murder in my heart.
The battle became quite noisy with the incessant clang of metal blades and the curses and howls of pain from the wounds I inflicted on the enemy. The Winged-men who were fighting with Tob and his men did their best to get around my guard. They had a hard time. It galled me with after all we had been through I now saw green men and Winged-men fighting side by side against our green warriors. How could this happen? Now they were trying to cut me off, and then cut me down.
