CHAPTER 15The End of The Beginning
Two days later Zaor and Armen returned with their warriors to the village where we were waiting for them to meet up. They did not have good news for us. They had been unable to overtake Tob’s lead, nor take down Crooch or Vakon, for they had been attacked by a large Winged-men force from the Zaran city of Scresa. For now, the treacherous trio as we called them, would have to be forgotten as more pressing matters needed to be dealt with. The Winged-men from the other cities were planning their attack against us.
