CHAPTER 16Attacked By The Zarans
It was not long before my expeditionary force of fighters was ready, my vaulted Black Dragons in their lead.
As before I tasked Sahn Jor with the job of staying behind with a third of our troops to defend Tarcos if there should be any attack on the city. Then with Zaor, Armen, and the remainder of my army, now over a hundred thousand fighters, we rode to aid our allies in the other Zaran cities in the north and west. I now considered these cities part of our empire and merely occupied by the Zarans. They were no longer Zaran cities at all any longer. They belonged to the people of Ares, the true people of this world, the green people. Soon I knew we would free our people from the Winged-men forever!
