The sun was starting to set as Isabelle drove back into Kimberley’s street. The sky was a beautiful m******e of reds, pinks and oranges, bleeding across the blue in gorgeous, vivid colours. Parking in the same spot, Isabelle locked the car and was again struck by the eerie feeling creeping relentlessly up her spine. She didn’t like this neighbourhood, didn’t like how quiet this street was, and she certainly didn’t like the warning bells shrieking in her gut.
