He didn’t have the nightmare last night. For the first time in years, Jace wasn’t tossing and turning as his mind was locked into a house of horrors from which he could not escape. He had no idea what time it was now as he lay with his eyes closed, sun warming his face and chest, and the smell of bacon wafting through his room.
