Chapter 4

I headed towards the door after someone was knocking as if he or she was ready to break down the house.

Mom went to work and judging from what I know she always come back late in the night and Dominic wasn’t around and Dan was sleeping.

“Who is it?” I asked and open the door to reveal Justin. Something is wrong. For one, he look angry like he just got to realize that something horrible happened and that could only mean one person……..his dad.

I didn’t need to say anything to worsen the matter, I only open the door widely for him to come in.

“He……….he brought another woman” He said before he went on crying.

To some people like his mom and elder brother, he was a sweet nice boy and to people at school, he was a popular playboy who gets what he wants whenever he likes but the Justin I grew up with is someone who trusts people easily and those same people always end up hurting him. A very obvious example is his Dad.

No matter how much his dad always make mistakes, Justin always end up forgiving him saying he has changed, something I know is bullshit.

“How about we go bowling?” I asked and he nodded. It was a way we usually take our mind off stuffs, pretending for a moment that we didn’t have any worries in the world and just being ourselves and have fun and then when we are ready, we talk about it.

We played and fool around three hours before we finally decide to go to our favorite joint to get what to eat.

“I will just get a sandwich, what about you? Burrito?” I asked and he nodded.

I was going back to my seat with Justin when I saw Hannah walk in with a guy and decided to give them space. No one needed to know that Justin and I were anything close to friends.

After what seems like hours she finally left with the guy and I walk back to my seat.

“Where were you since? I couldn’t reach you cause your phone is here and the waiter said you had already taken the food” Justin ranted.

“I didn’t want Hannah to see me which was why I hid in some kind of store like place which by the way stinks” I said.

“Hannah wasn’t here, I think you’re mistaken” He said.

“No, am not. She is literally there” I said while pointing to Hannah who was about entering the guy’s car.

“Probably her relative she said was visiting them. One more thing, can you try not to curse the living hell out of her whenever we are in school” He said.

“Can you also try to be civil and act like a normal human being?” I said and he snicker. Am already going to start making one million ways to kill this dude.

“Before you start lecturing me on how not curse the s**t out of your girlfriend, can I please eat? I feel like am going to die?” I said before picking up my sandwich.

“He said introduced her as his girlfriend” He said finally touching the sour subject.

“And what did your mom and Josh say?”

“Mom left the place while Josh and dad started an argument”

“Not to be rude but he is the most selfish, egoistic bastard I have ever met”

“When are not rude?”

“When am in a good behaviour”

“Yeah sure” He said sarcastically.

“Well, I cant just believe he would do something like that. I trusted him” He said.

“Everything is going to be okay” I said and he hummed.

I got to school the next day a little bit too late.

The teacher was already in class and introducing a new student when I walk in.

“Thank you for finally deciding to join us Miss Sanders” He said in a mocking voice while I pretended not to be concerned and walk over to my seat.

“Anyways as I was saying, make sure to fill in Karina on what we’ve gone through so far” He said before finally leaving.

I was about putting my head down to sleep when the new girl came over to me.

“Hi” She said.

“You’re talking to me?”I asked and she nodded. No one ever speak to me.

“Am Karina” She said.

“And she is a certified loner” Hannah interjected. SEE, this is the exact reason why I always curse at her because she certainly deserve it.

“And I wasn’t talking to you” The new girl replied. Ouch.

“Am Daniella and just to be clear she is certified b***h” I said while stretching out the word certified to make sure Hannah gets the memo.

“I want to be friends with you. Can I?” She asked and I nodded.

We got to the cafeteria and were eating when Justin and his group sat behind us.

“Just so you know Sanders, we hate you” Alicia said and Wendy seconded with a “yes, we do”

“Am sure at this moment, you haven’t realize that the feeling is mutual” I said while Karina is smiling at the exchange.

“Will you stop bullying my friends?” Hannah said.

“You call this bullying, this isn’t even close to anything your so called friends do” I said .

“You’re really testing my level of patience” She said.

“Oh my God, you know what patience mean?”I asked while Stacy and Brian including Justin were trying to keep a straight face but they look constipated.

“Babe, are you listening to what she is saying about me, Justin?” She said to Justin.

“Will you quit being a baby and stop whining” Karina said and I smiled.

“I wasn’t talking to you” Hannah said before leaving with her friends.

“I thought we made a deal that you aren’t going to curse at her again” Justin said when the stupid crew left.

“And when did I inform you that I was going to go ahead with your plan. And you call that cursing them” I said.

“What happened to the two of you?” Brian asked and we both frown

“What do you mean?” Justin asked.

“You are actually talking to each other without the intent of killing each other” Stacy responded.

“You guys hate each other?” Karina asked.

“I have never seen any one who hate each other as much as these two” Stacy said.

“We don’t hate each other, that’s just how we communicate” I said and Brian coughed.

“Yeah, right cause that’s just how me and maths communicate” Brian said in a mocking manner.

“They don’t look like enemies” Karina said.

“Yeah, not until he destroys her art studio and she put shrimps in his food” Brian said.

“Or until she scratch his car or puts a dildo in his bag so everyone thinks he is having s*x with himself” Stacy said.

“You put a what!?” Rina asked or perhaps yelled.

“Which by the way is a great plan” Brian said while giving me a thumbs up with Justin glaring at him

“When exactly are you getting your revenge on that studio?” Justin asked.

“Soon, my boy- soon” I said while getting up and getting ready for my next class.

“Just so we are clear, you put a s*x toy in his bag” Rina said while we were going over to our lockers.

“And it isn’t the worst thing we’ve done to yourself, so calm down”

“And what did he do as a sign of revenge” She asked.

“Locked me in an enclosed space”

“How is that bad?”

“Am claustrophobic” I said.

“Ohh”

“Anyways, I need help with my next revenge. So you need to come up with ideas.”

“You make plans for your revenge?” She asked.

“Yes” I answered.

“And what gave you the impression that I can make a plan for revenge” She said.

“I don’t know. Make use of your big brain.” I said while entering class.

Karina and I decide to branch the store before going home cause I needed something to eat for movie marathon with Justin and I have to start planning.

“What in the world do you need pepper for?”

“Something” I replied devilishly.

I was about asking for her favorite food when I saw Hannah with the guy from the restaurant.

“Why is she with Sam?” Karina asked while pointing to the two.

“You know him?” I asked.

“Yeah, more like live with him. He is my brother” She said.

“But Justin said that they were relatives”

“Am pretty sure I know all my important and I can’t seem to picture Hannah as one of them”

“Hmm….” I said while we left the store. There is more to that relationship in my eye than it seems.

Movie marathon began a little late cause Daniel was w*****g out.

“How you end up being my twin brother, I can never know” I said.

“Hmm…. let’s see, probably because dad and mom slept with each other and then boom, two offsprings start to develop and grow inside mom’s uterus and then we were given birth to” Dan said.

“Will you stop with the s*x and biology cause whenever you start, you never stop” Justin said with a tired expression.

“Who stole your favorite dildo?” I asked.

“Dad…….No………I don’t have a favorite dildo……..I don’t have any dildo……shit I don’t discriminate……..fuck STOP” he ranted while Dan and I started laughing like maniacs.

“Dad and Mom were arguing before I left” He explained.

“Say no more” Dan said knowing he doesn’t really want to talk about the topic.

We were about watching Stranger things 4 when I got a call from Karina and I excuse myself.

“Brace yourself” She said immediately I pick up.

“Why?”

“Sam said they are dating”

“Say what!!!”

“How will you tell Justin?” She asked and I smiled.

“He doesn’t need my revenge again, I have a new target”

“What the f**k are you talking about?” She asked and I smiled.

It is on, Hannah will regret this.
