“You have brought shame into our family’s sacred name! You have stained the reputation that I have tried to keep!” Mason roared, making everyone in the room whimper in fear. Alissa stepped back to avoid her father’s wrath. “Father, I swear I didn’t know that it was a stranger! I thought it was Kyle! I-Ah!” Alissa was silenced with a blinding slap from her father. Fear gripped Alissa as she watched her father’s rage grow more intense, it was like a forest fire during the dry season. A man that had always shown compassion and love towards his daughters, this was the first time he had hit any of his children. Mason grabbed Alissa by her hand and pulled her close to him, his eyes were filled with rage. Alissa whimpered in pain, she felt her father crushing her hand. “What have I not done for you! To ensure that you and your sister make sure that the both of you are happy! Yet this is how you repay me! By getting pregnant! What’s worse, it's a man that you don’t know!” Mason tightened his grip on his daughter about to hit her again. His hands were stopped by Lucio, the pack beta and Mason's second in command. “That’s enough, Mason, you're going to injure her!” Lucio held Mason’s hand so he wouldn’t hit Alissa again. “Get your hands off me, Lucio!! Let me teach her a lesson! She has brought shame to our family and our pack! Now the Silvermoon pack won’t want to have anything to do with us! After we have already made agreements to give her to the Alpha’s son!” Mason roared out of pure rage. The entire household was filled with fear and they immediately didn’t want to come close to raging Alpha, Alissa tried her best to avoid her father’s wrath. “I know you’re highly disappointed, and you want to beat her up but she is still your daughter and she’s pregnant. Don’t let your rage blind you, please don’t harm her.” Lucio said, trying his best to calm the Alpha down. “Ok, I won’t hit her anymore. But let her explain what she means by saying she doesn’t know who the man is or doesn’t remember what his face looks like!” Mason said, still enraged. “Alissa, I have turned this pack upside down and none of our wolves admit to having anything to do with you! And even Kyle claims that he didn’t see that night. So Alissa, who is the father of that bastard growing inside your womb!” Mason reprimanded. Alissa couldn’t remember the face of the man that she had spent a night with, she was in such a hurry to leave the hotel that she didn’t stop to look at the man. She was scared that her father would injure her. “Why can’t you be like your sister?! The both of you are identical twins but she can never do what you just did! You are a disgrace and I don’t even know if you’re my child!” Mason said, sitting down on his seat, while he ruffled his hair. Alissa’s eyes shifted to where Ariel was standing, she remembered that Ariel had been the one to suggest that they went to the party and she was the one that told her that Kyle was waiting for her in the hotel room. But why would her own sister try to harm her so much, all she could remember was entering the room. Then the intimacy with a man she supposed was her lover, when she woke up she saw that he wasn’t her lover. Alissa quickly left the hotel and rushed home, she tried to forget everything that had occurred that night but unfortunately fate had other plans with her. She discovered she was pregnant, she tried to get rid of it but every time she tried to abort the baby. She saw the last memory she had of her mother, she felt weak and couldn’t abort the unborn child. Her father on the other hand was heartbroken that his own daughter could do such a thing and choose to hurt him. “Father, forgive me if I had known that she would have slept with a total stranger I would have stopped her!” Ariel said in between sobs, she walked towards their father and knelt in front of Mason to plead on Alissa’s behalf. Alissa watched as her sister acted like she was pleading for her, she knew that it was all a trick to blind their father. And the trick was working, Mason helped Ariel up. “Stop crying Ariel, you didn’t do anything wrong she is the one that has brought shame to our family! If she was half the person you are she wouldn’t get pregnant for a total stranger.” Mason said trying to comfort Ariel, Alissa watched as Ariel successfully manipulated her father and turned his mind against her the more. Alissa caught a glimpse of Ariel’s face while she was being comforted by their father, she saw Ariel give a sinister smile showing that she was the one pulling the strings. For as long as she could remember Ariel had always wanted to make her life miserable, every chore, every game and everything she does Ariel would want to ruin it. She even tried to take Alissa’s boyfriend, this caused a big fight between the sisters. Ariel then said she was sorry, Alissa accepted the apology. Months later, there is a party Ariel begins urging Alissa to go with her to the party. At first Alissa didn’t want to go anywhere, due to Ariel telling her that Kyle would be attending she agreed to follow her sister. But now she knows why Ariel wanted her to follow her to the party, she was heartbroken that her own sister would go as far as trying to get her to sleep with another man. “Alissa, I beg of you. Please tell me who it was, are you trying to protect the man? I promise I won’t harm him, I won't do anything to him.” Mason said in a low tone. Alissa knelt down and bowed her head, she cried so much that her little voice began to c***k. “Father, please believe me! I don’t know who it was! I left when I discovered it wasn’t Kyle! I promise you that I wouldn’t want to hurt you in any way! I swear with my life I never want anything that would hurt you.” Alissa cried as she crawled to her father. Mason tried to keep his anger under control. But it was a harder task than he thought. He walked back to where he kept all his vases and art collections. He began breaking the vases. “Do you know what I have done to keep you and your sister happy?! I had to juggle my life as an Alpha and make the two of you happy! I made sure you were happy and didn’t lack anything in life! You have disappointed me, Alissa! It would have been better if you had died instead of your mother!" Mason said with rage clouding his eyes. His words shattered Alissa’s heart to a million pieces, she knew her father can be rude at times but this was extreme even for him. Mason had lost his wife when she was delivering the twins ever since he had changed, Mason was once known to be happy and cheerful. He ruled his pack along with his Luna Amber. But after that day, he changed to a cold cruel soul. The members of the pack said the day that his Luna died was the day that Mason's smile died. He hardly showed any emotion even to his own daughters, but he always showed that he cared for them. The pack knew that he wasn’t the same after losing his mate, unlike other Alphas that would immediately look for another mate once they lost their former, Mason decided to stay alone. "F-a-ther." Alissa could hardly say anything after she heard the words her father hauled at her. She couldn't hold the tears back, she let them escape her eyes. She looked at her father closely, his eyes closed but they were shaky. It was the first time she had seen her father show any other emotion other than anger. Lucio walked close to Mason to try to comfort him so he would stop being angry, "My Alpha maybe it's time for you to rest, I wil-" Lucio words stopped when Mason raised his hands to stop him. "I can't stand here and let you live under the same roof as me. You need to learn from your mistakes and for that you need to be punished!" Mason said in a loud tone. "Alpha Mason, please consider your daughter's condition before punishing her. She has life growing in her so please don't be too harsh on her." Lucio pleaded for Alissa. But it seemed that his words didn't get Mason, he remained unfazed. "Lucio, if they aren't properly disciplined they would repeat the same mistake or they might even do worse.” Mason said with a calm voice. Mason turned to his daughter Alissa, Alissa wasn’t sure what her father intended to do. She only hopes that it won’t harm her or her unborn baby in any way. “Alissa, you are hereby exiled from this pack, there is no space for filth in this pack. Leave at once.” Mason said in a calm but rather cold voice. Alissa looked at her father with fear in her eyes, at first she doubted what she had heard but she crawled to her father to plead with him. "Father I-." Alissa said as she tried to grab hold of her father’s robe, but he removed her hand and the next words that came out his mouth broke what remained of Alissa’s heart. "I gave no daughter, named Alissa. I only have one daughter and that is Ariel. Now leave before I'm pushed to do something that I don't want to do." Mason said as he walked away paying no attention to Alissa or her tears. "Guards, take her and throw outside the pack." Mason said before entering his chambers, two guards took Alissa and began dragging out of the house. Before Alissa was dragged out, Ariel walked close to her and whispered something into Alissa’s ears. Alissa grabbed Ariel by her clothes, "I will make you p-." Alissa was cut off by a slap from Ariel. "You should be ashamed, you have hurt our father and you still want to cause a scene. Father was right, if you are left here who knows what you will do next." Ariel said as she watched the guards take her sister away. Alissa watched her sister as she was being dragged away, the last thing she saw was an evil smirk on her sister's face. The guards dragged Alissa by her arm; they pulled her gently rather than the way they were meant to pull her out. They were Alissa’s friends and they were hurt that they were losing the only person in the Alpha’s house that made them smile. As she was being dragged across the pack, there were different murmurs coming from different people. Some were doubting that she would do such a thing, some were saying that she had brought shame to the pack. Some said that the Alpha was being harsh to his own daughter, but no one had the heart to speak up. They could watch as the Alpha’s daughter was being thrown out of the pack. When they reached the main pack entrance, they gave Alissa a bag pack. Inside the two guards had put some of Alissa’s clothes and some money that would last her a while. They also gave her a letter from the Beta. "We wish we could have helped you more, Lady Alissa may the moon goddess guide you." One of the guards said as they turned back to go back to work. Alissa cried a bit, she then turned and began walking into a world that she knows nothing of, she held her womb promising herself to survive and live for her unborn baby.
