THE MATING BALL
I stared at myself in the mirror, my long dim hair running down my shoulders in free twist. A gold necklace was strapped over my neck with a pair of silver earring. Apparently I didn't have any desire to attend this mating ball, since I realize that none of the wolves in my pack will like to be affiliated with me in anyway. They as of now disdain me since I'm the most fragile of all Omega's. Also, they were basically on the right track. However, it is essentially on the grounds that I haven't seen, or changed, into my wolf yet. That is an essential rule for every one of the wolves in my Pack. Observed by a few different guidelines as well. One way or the other, I might not likely end up with a mate. It also likely may be on the grounds that they aren't from my pack specifically, yet I was constantly told by many from my own pack that I won't ever find a mate. A great number of them previously found down theirs some time before the mating ball began , yet I'm simply stucked without a mate and all alone by myself. It was the day where all wolves go to the focal point of the town, looking sharp and invigorated, and; what my friends usually refers to as, 'Getting Hitched'. All wolves are bound to find their mates during this mating ball, and this is the first time I've at any point attended such event. I turned my hips as I saw the edge of my long gown dragging on the wooden floor while I chose to twirl around and glance back at myself in the mirror. My skin looked brilliant in the dark bound dress that covered my minuscule structure, a couple of little studded hoops in every one of my ear cartilage and a jewelry folded over my neck. It was a jewelry my mom gave me, before she passed away. I was just a little girl, yet I can in any case remember nearly all that happened that evening. "Tracy, are you done with the preparations?, it's almost time" I heard a voice echoed a few meters from were I was standing, and I immediately turned my head toward the path the voice came from. A couple of moments later, a head jabbed out from the lobby and gazed off towards me. A pair of pale blue eyes watching me intently as the a guy with two other ladies stood in front of the entrance. They two ladies were tall, had short, spiky and deep brown colored hair and dark green eyes with a slender looking figure. I sighed and turned towards them, seeing a grin show up all over as they moved into my room with their hands in their pockets. Stretching their shoulders with a little distance away of their dress. I couldn't stand them looking intently at me, as I moved a strand of my dark colored hair that tended to cover my eyes behind my ear. "Sweet heavens, Tracy," they chorused "Do I look awful?" I asked, a terrified look showing up all over as I watched the guy, alongside the two other women standing before me, I took a second look at the dress I wore. "I could change in the event that it does not look appealing" I mumbled "No, Tracy, you look totally dazzling," they said, making one more stride towards me and left a foot or two between us. "I believe this is certainly going to be your day, like I mean tonight's is entirely yours" "You really think that way, Brian?" I asked, feeling anxious, unfit to decide if this would have been the night I'd find my mate. In the event that I don't find him this evening, then I may in all likelihood always be unable to find a mate; no matter what. "B-uut however… .consider the possibility that I......." I stammered "Trust me, Tracy," Brian said, resting his hand upon my shoulder as I continued to gaze at him. His face beamed with a smile as he gave some words of assurance, however it failed to motivate me even a bit. I'd expected a nice outing, yet my demeanor was exactly the opposite, I felt inadequate not giving my self enough ego. "You will be the most attractive out of everybody at this mating ball, belief me I'm not making a jest of you, I mean what I say." His certifiable grin said everything. He was by and large consistent with his promise, he forever was. "Brian, you don't need to lie," I said with a noticeable smile, trusting Brian would simply concede I'm actually going to be the powerless Omega for the rest life. Be that as it may, I just saw his face glow with enough radiance, he was just having the time of his life. "Everybody knows, including you, that I will end up being alone towards the end of this mating ceremony. Just think who on earth will like to have a frail mate like me, who can scarcely protect herself?" I lowered my head as I attempted to conceal the fact that I was actually lowering my morale, I could only wish that this night would rapidly be over. "Someone will definitely get you, trust me," Brian assured mw, and I suddenly glanced briefly at him, trying to make sure he was really sincere and not making things up in other to make me feel good. "However, consider the possibility that you go to an alternate Pack?" I asked eager to know his thoughts and I may be that we might at any point never see each other again. "Tracy, everything is gonna be alright," the delicate sound of Brians voice filled my ears, and I just kept my head looking towards the floor as Brian tenderly patted my shoulders for solace. "Wether our mates in some way or another turned out to be from various Packs, it won't change the way that I will do my utmost to protect you if necessary." He said reassuringly I whimpered as I felt nauseous and depressed, awash on a stormy sea of confusion, misunderstanding and despair. However Brian ventured nearer and filled the space between us. His long arms folded over my minuscule midriff, his head resting on the left side of my neck. I straightened up when Brian squeezed me against his body, before I wound up unwinding and folded my own arms over him. I buried my face into his chest owing to my self-effacing nature, and I later grasped firmly on the Tuxedo that he was wearing for the mating ball. "I bet you'll soon get used to the nuptial rites, just clear your mind of any unnecessary doubts." Brian muttered I smiled as we hugged and I felt shivers running through my body. There was a much larger number of people here than I had expected, the mating ball was far from what I had in mind. In any case, it wasn't exactly the way in which I anticipated it; with every one of the young ladies wearing dresses that either went down to their lower legs or stopped at their mid thighs, and the men were all wearing tuxedos or suspenders. I remained by the bar that was serving desserts and beverages for the people who were in need of any, sitting on one of the stools munching on a piece of Oreo cookies set before me. I was drained, overwhelmed and cared very little about being here any more, yet that's what I knew whether I left for some unexplained reason, then Brian would surely chase me down and convince me to stay. What's more, talking about Brian, I couldn't find him anywhere. He'd probably find his potential mate the moment he strolled in here, yet regardless of whether he did, he said he will stick to me until the ceremony commences. Yet, he just left me hanging alone at the bar with outsiders around me from different packs.
