Chapter 1

Alicia woke up once her alarm rang and got out of her white sheets. She made it to her bathroom and took a shower head-to-toe. She dried her hair and made two ponytails showing off her purple highlights. She wore her uniform which consisted of a grey skirt, a white shirt, a grey blazer, she wore it with a black stocking and sparkly shoes. She took her white Fila backpack and left her room to go to breakfast. She arrived at the cafeteria and stood in line, “Alicia?” someone said behind her and she turned and ran into a beautiful girl with brown curly hair that was tied up on her head, unlike Alicia she had opted to go with the mandatory grey school socks and black flats, “Roxy? Oh my God what are you doing here?” she asked as the two girls gave each other a hug, “I go here now, have you seen this school it’s amazing I literally love everything here” Roxy said, “I know right I love it here too,” Alicia said, “I love it here too, now can you move some of us would like to get breakfast before we die in line” the girl said behind Roxy, she was beautiful with dark black hair that flowed behind her in waves even the way she wore her uniform was cool, she wore black stockings with diamonds running on the side with black platform heels, her blazer pocket was also bejeweled in red stones. “oh sorry we didn’t realize we were holding the line, we haven’t seen each other in a long time, “how awesome now please move  I am sure you can continue your reunion once you sit at a table” the girl said and Alicia moved to the waiting lunch lady, “what can I get you sweetheart?” the lady asked, “I would like a fruit bowl and a coffee smoothie please” Alicia said and got her order before moving to a table followed by Roxy who had ordered scrambled eggs, sausages, French toast and beans with an iced mocha, they chose a table and Sat and watched as the girl behind them went to sit at a table where a blonde girl was sitting next to a guy and four other guys were sitting with them, in fact it looked like the table was getting crowded as everyone started coming in the cafeteria, “yeah it’s the cool kid's table who would have guessed that such a sophisticated school would be pretty much typical” a voice said and they turned to it, Chloe was standing there with a tray of eggs, onions, bacon, mushrooms and sausages with pineapple juice. Her hair was lying on her shoulder with a plait on top and pink highlights, “what’s up surprised to see me?” she asked as she sat down, “of course not Chloe why would we be surprised I am sure you have posted it like a hundred times on your social media” Alicia said with sarcasm, “naturally so clearly the Martinez brothers are part of the cool kids now” Chloe said, “what are you talking about Chloe?” Roxy asked, “I am talking about the fact that Jayden, Jordan, and Jackson have only been here a day and they are already sitting at the same table as Kyle King,” Chloe said, “who’s that?” Alicia asked, “seriously, jeesh you people need to learn the politics of fitting in a new school like learning the hierarchical system, Kyle is only the hottest boy in school, most popular jock and all” Chloe said, “yeah that’s the guy I saw yesterday when I was signing in, he was looking at me and he is really hot,” Alicia said once she looked at the guy sitting next to the blonde girl, “yes hot and taken, he is dating the hot blonde that’s sitting next to him, her name is Kayla Angelina Agreste, long story short while Kyle is the King she is the queen of this school,” Chloe said and dug in her food, “how do you know all that?” Roxy asked, “the school provides anything if you look hard enough and I need to know who I should stay away from if I am to survive in this school, and it's best to be Kayla’s friend then being her enemy,” Chloe said, “why?” Alicia asked, “are you never on social media? Yesterday a girl parked in Kayla’s parking spot and her car was paintballed and Kayla wasn’t even here by then. She heard later what happened and threw Meagan in the pool that was laced with green dye she has been green since last night and this morning although most of the color is gone she still looks like she is sick and I heard Kayla wasn’t even done with her yet” Chloe said, “so she is a bully?” Alicia asked, “she is a dangerous bully. That’s a terrible combination, her boyfriend must be a douche” Roxy said, “in that department, I cannot provide information I haven’t talked or seen him talking to anyone” Chloe said, “who is the girl with the black hair?” Roxy asked, “that would Lilly De Campo, Kayla’s best friend, she is just as bad as Kayla really, but I don’t know the one just sat down she must be new” Chloe said and looked at another girl with black hair sat at the table, her long black hair was in a ponytail that showed off the tattoo in the back of her neck. She sat down next to Lilly and fell immediately in the conversation. “come on we need to get to school” Roxy said and they stood up, “Chloe since you know everything about this place where can I get Starbucks around here?” Alicia asked, “well the only Starbucks place within reach around here is like fifteen minutes to the south but I am not sure you want to go there most IPAA kids avoid going there and opt to just order from the city or if you want to drive you can drive thirty minutes into the city for the one there,” Chloe said as they got to the parking lot, “why do they avoid to the one that’s closer?” Roxy asked, “because than they would have to be in the same vicinity as the kids from Crown Lake the rival school,” Chloe said, “I have never heard of such a school,” Alicia said, “of course you haven’t you are news shy, Crown Lake is the school where all those rich freaks with magical powers go it’s like thirty minutes away from here if you listen closely you can hear explosions, well at least that’s what I have been told,” Chloe said and got in her car and drove to school. Alicia and Roxy did the same.
