Leon scans me up and down, probably looking for some deception or clue off my posture. Then I realize I never covered my mark.

Leon smiles and holds his hand out to me. "I'd have rather you amongst my borders on a different accord."

Leon smiles and turns to walk back to his son. "Welcome to the family Eric, meet me in my office tomorrow afternoon. Lily can show you where it is."

"Sure, Alpha Leon." I stand beside James who is still uncomfortable.

Well, so far, so good. James will come around eventually.

I run out of the forest back towards the pack house.

"whatever I have to to make sure that Edward falls. I may not be able to strike against him because of the stupid bracelet but I have the freedom to come and go out of the pack walls when I want. I will hunt packs and have them create alliances with other packs and have them come down on him. We will have the best year possible until then though."

I nod quietly and yawn. "Let's get some sleep, we can continue this tomorrow." I hold on to Eric tightly, not wanting to let go which he does to me as well, and we both fall asleep in each other's arms.
