I follow my mother and father out of the great Hall and look back at Eric. There's something about him that makes me want to know him more. We walk up to our quarters and sit in the living room on the couch beside James. James, who is now 13 looks away from the tv screen and pauses his game when he sees the serious and upset faces on his families face. "what's going on."

"We had guests that ordered your sister to be present." Mom says grimly staring at me. My dad leans against the wall and sighs.

"alright you two, I'll explain everything I know." My father says with his arms crossed.

My mom comes and sits beside me wrapping an arm around my shoulder and rubbing my arm.

"Alpha Edward is the alpha to blood Moon pack located in Florida. News about him spread as he started slaughtering nearby packs, taking what he called trophies. In reality, it was women he deemed ultimately beautiful. He would slaughter anyone in the pack that was considered invaluable and the people he did consider of value would be offered a position in his pack."

I continue to listen intently, my eyes getting wider.

"Colin and I decided that before he could reach our packs and fellow allies we would move north to prolong the inevitable and gain strength and numbers. Edward has been growing in strength since. There are rumours that he has a gift of strength, but no one knows for sure."

"So what is Eric's story he asked you to tell me?"

My dad sighs and starts pacing.

"Eric was the son of the alpha from Ember woods pack. When Edward showed up at Eric's home, Edward wanted the alphas daughter. The Alpha, Eric's father, obviously refused Edwards advances, as did his sister. Unfortunately, Edward decapitated Eric's father. His sister, seeing that they were losing the battle, took a silver blade and stabbed herself in the chest, killing herself. Eric, watching his father and sister dying, killed Edwards' beta. Instead of being outraged that his beta was killed by a mere child who had just gotten his wolf, he decided that Eric was more valuable than his sister. Edward holds Eric's mother captive in order to control Eric, but a few years ago, Eric's mother tried killing Edward. Edward decapitated her."

I place a hand over my mouth, completely horrified about what he's saying.

"Now Cal has studied science and computer science. He's Edwards' best friend. He found a way to suppress our wolf form by using silver and wolfsbane. we believe that Edwards army is being controlled by these bracelets or necklaces etc. They're silver bracelets and inside them is wolfsbane. They have tiny needles that can be voice activated to inject small amounts of wolfsbane into the wolf's system." I stand up almost feeling overwhelmed and pace.

"Eric can't get the bracelet off it's possible it's around his ankle. Either way, we've seen it and Eric would have seen in person, The wolves tearing their limbs off to get the bracelet off but the wolfsbane is given a stronger dosage and with some help from an ally witch wipes the wolves' memory. Edward then tells them they were in an accident and that he's their alpha. So they stay loyal to him, which has placed enough fear into the captured that they choose to keep their memories and pray for someone to defeat Edward." I look at my father quietly, wondering if he means me.

" What does this have to do with us dad?" I look at James sadly, since he wasn't downstairs to witness what happened.

"Edward has chosen your sister for his next victim." my mother says solemnly.

"No! that's not going to happen." he says, raising his voice and standing up. I put my head in my hands and sigh.

"tell them lily! tell them you'll kill him." he says looking at me. "You've got powers."

I go to say something but my dad cuts me off.

"James, it's not that simple. he has the power of strength. If he throws a thousand men at her, your sister's powers will only go so far."

I stand up quietly. "I'm going for a walk. I need to think." Before they can respond I walk out of the alphas quarters and out of the pack house towards our woods.

I take my shoes off and run through the forest looking for my favorite spot to calm myself down. The meadow. It's filled with lilies and various other flowers and a small patch of grass in the middle. I've visited so much that there's a path through the flowers. That's where I need to be right now.

Once I get there, before I enter the open meadow, I hide behind a tree to look around and make sure it's clear. Edward had said he was leaving Eric and Cal behind to make sure I don't flee. After confirming that no one is there, I walk over to my usual spot and sat on the grass and sigh.

Eric's not an evil monster after all, maybe that's why his aura is different. It also explains the aura around Edward and Cal.

I nod, knowing that I have no choice. We've remained in the packs borders but it is evident, were not wanted.

Edward has taken over a small cottage near the forest for me and Cal to reside in. I watch Edward leave, praying to the goddess for his demise.

" You take first shift. I want to find some she wolves to make scream my name." Cal said, looking towards the other cottages.

I shrug my shoulders and walk out. I'd rather not be stuck with him anyway. How is this my life? I was supposed to be alpha of a pack in a beautiful forest.
