Alora POV

Our room is really lovely and I can see Kylies input with the pictures on the wall, I can't wait to see her.

What I wanted more than anything at the minute was the bathroom.

I needed to shower and get this blood off of me.

"I need a shower," I say, heading for the only other door in our room.

"Are you OK?" Austin asks, but I don't look up, I keep walking. "I'm fine" was all I could muster and walk into the bathroom.

I walk to the shower, placing my bag on the side of the sink as I pass, turning on the shower, letting it heat up.

I walk back to the sink to grab my toiletries out of my bag, and I catch sight of myself in the mirror.

No wonder Lenny looked alarmed.

I have splatters of blood on me. Dried blood over my skin, clothes, and hair. My hair looks a mess, stuck to my face with dried blood, and it's all tangled where it was yanked on, and my face that I managed to clean is still a little swollen and bruised. My cut lip has healed, but it's still red.

My first impression at my sisters clan and I look like this. How embarrassing for my mates and her. Not only am I officially meeting her people, but I'm also represent my mates and pack as their Luna.

'It wasn't our fault, sweet girl. We were protecting ourselves,' Veda says, trying to give me reassurance, but I'm still deeply embarrassed.

I don't want to see Kylie this way. We are here to celebrate Kylies birthday, so it should be a happy time, but I know if she sees me with bruises, she will worry.

I look down at my tainted skin and rip the dress and underwear off.

I climb into the shower and welcome the sting of the hot water. red water all around my feet as it runs off of my body.

I shampoo my hair a total of 4 times and conditioned it twice, Kylie has super senses since mating with Freddy, so I want to be sure she doesn't smell any blood on me, especially rogue blood.

I wrap the towel around me and blow dry my hair. It feels so much better.

Walk out of the bathroom and instantly feel bad as I've hogged the shower. Both of my mates are standing, talking together.

I only caught the tail end of the conversation, and it was Aiden telling Austin

that "it doesn't add up."

"What doesn't?" I ask as they both stop talking and are looking sheepish.

"I'll jump in the shower, and when we are all cleaned up, we can talk about it," Austin said, going straight to the door, I see tension in his shoulders as he enters the bathroom.

"How are you now?" Aiden asked as he looked into my eyes, but I could see his eyes have a hint of anger in them as his eyes catch my swollen and bruised face, he reached his hand up to stroke my cheek but thought better of it. I know he won't want to put the scent of the rogues back onto my skin.

"I'm feeling better now I've showered, I'm just tired," I say, wishing he would hold me.

"Try and have a rest before we chat and get ready for the party," He said while pulling the covers back on the inviting bed.

"Ok," I replied, dropping the towel and climbing into bed naked.

I don't even have the energy to put any clothing on.

I turn over and snuggle under the thick quilt, and darkness takes me.

I don't think I slept long before I felt the bed dip and the warm from being held by Austin and Aiden.

"It's a good job. I asked for 3, then ain't it," Austin chuckled, making me smile more.

"How are you both?" I ask as I take them both in and see their bruises and grazes have gone. " Good." But I get the sense that they dont want to talk about it. Aiden kissed my forehead, and Austin held out a bowl of fruit for me. I hadn't realised how hungry I actually was until I popped a strawberry in my mouth. "You really need to stop that!" Austin groaned, and it makes me want to do it more.
