Chapter 3

592 Words
Dear Mother, I wanted to inform you that I won't be coming back "home" any time soon. To think that you would put me out side from the home I grew up in. You know nothing about me and after 17 years you don't know how to take care of your first child. What a shame. I thought it would be different. I've matured and I'm not a bad b***h like I used to be. Don't come looking for me either. You won't find me. Sincerely Ellie I folded the piece of paper and put it by the night stand. Then I heard someone knock on the front door. "ill get it" said Noel. It was a ruggedly handsome guy in a T-shirt and sweats. 'Oh no, does she actually have a boyfriend? What the hell?' I get a strange pulse in my head. The guy and Noel sit down on the couch, "Charles" he said holding out his hand. I walk over to shake it and sit down next to Noel. As soon as he started ranting on and on...for some reason I could just tell right then....he's gay. Noel looked at me, "Charles lives across the street, he is gay and married" She made that obviously clear. "Well, actually that's what I came over to talk to you about...I met someone new. His name is Mitchel and-" I interrupt him "Mitchel who?" I glare at him. "Mitchel Carpenter" I look at Charles in disgrace. "Do you know him?" He asks. "Yeah actually, he's my cousin, he lives at my house, well the place I ran away from." Charles looks at Noel confused. "Well tell me what happened" said Noel trying to change the subject. "He just left me, sent me a text and told me he was leaving. Said he wanted to marry some girl in Ohio." "Oh my god I'm so sorry. I'm glad you found someone that makes you happy. Charles blushes blood red. "Yes he does! I can't wait for you to meet him. We should go on a double date tomorrow for breakfast-" I stop him there "Sorry to cut you off again, but Mitchel CAN NOT know I'm here... This morning he saw me leave, he may try to take me home or call my mom if he finds out where I am. I don't have a phone so there's no way for him to find me. "I'm taking her to her mom's to drop off a note to them tomorrow when no one is home" said Noel "Or...I can give it to Mitchel tomorrow for him to give to your mom, he will understand if I beg him not to tell them where you are" He looks at me and I fall for those trust worthy eyes. "O-okay" I mutter. I run down the hall to get the note and hand it to him with hesitation. He takes it and leaves. "Well, see you both tomorrow, I'll come by to pick you up around 10 okay?" We both say our goodbyes, I go back to the bedroom and Noel turns off the lights, locks the doors and I fall asleep the minute I hit the sheets and cover up.
