Teen Beach (Kidge) Movie

Pidge POV: Today me and my Boyfriend Kieth went surfing all day today. This was a awesome day! Keith:"Best day ever!" Pidge:"(Giggles)Yeah, it was pretty awesome huh?" Keith:"Awesome? Surfing all day, us being together. Awesome wishes It was this awesome." Pidge:"Yeah, it was perfect." Keith:"Yeah, it was." Pidge:"Um, listen, Keith..." Keith:"Ooh, did you hear about tomorrow?" Pidge:"Yeah! Can you believe they're talking about 40-foot waves." Keith:"There is a huge storm coming up from the north." Pidge:"A surf like that only happens here once every 30 years." Keith:"Can you imagine dropping in on a barrel that huge? Summer's not over yet! Woo!" Pidge:"Come on, I'm starving." Keith:"Race ya to the house!" I let Keith win on purpose. Keith:"I clearly won." Pidge:"Yeah, yeah." We both got inside to get are lunch, and what I had is a ham and cheese sandwich while Kieth had a turkey and cheese sandwich. Keith:"First thing tomorrow, we hit the beach and that awesome surf." Pidge:"Keith, about tomorrow." Keith:"W-w-wait. Hear that? No Way!" Keith immediately got up from the table and I followed him to my dad's workshop. My dad makes surfboards. And he was watching this movie that him and Keith loved to watch. Keith:"Hey!" Samuel:"Hey, what's up, bro?" Keith:"I can't believe you're watching this Without me." Samuel:"Now that you're here. I'm not." As I walked into the room I found out what my dad was watching. Pidge:"Please don't tell me this isn't..." Keith:"Wet Side Story!" Pidge:"Yeah, that." Keith:"Ah, 1962, surfers, bikers. Best movie ever made." Pidge:"How can you like this silliness? Especially you dad." Samuel:"Silliness? Pidge, my dear, this movie defined an entire culture." Keith:"Exactly." Samuel:"Yeah." Keith:"A surfer guy and a biker Girl share a secret love, while tryng to unite the revalling gangs as an evil real estate moqul tries to turn thier hang out into a resort by building a weather machine which blows up. Creating a massive Storm. Silliness? really?" Pidge:"Well, can we watch later? Because I really need to talk to you." Keith:"Just watch my favorite part when the two leads' eyes meet, and they're pulled apart by their revalling gangs." (Allura singing) "I'm not the kind to fall for a guy Who flashes a smile. (It goes on for miles) Don't usually swoon, but I'm over the moon. (He was just too cool for school) Now I'm fallin' for ya. (Allura falling into Lance's arms) Keith:"This is my favorite part right here." (Lotor) "Hey, get your salty surfer mitts off my baby sister." (Hunk) "Get your biker baby sister off our boarding buddy." (Lotor) "Oh, yeah?" Pidge:"Come on. they sing for no reason, they come out of the water and their hair is totally dry, the girls never surf as well as the boys, and they sing for no reason. I had to mention that one again, because even a second time, I don't get why." Keith:"But it's always summer, and everyone just sings and surfs." Pidge:"But really, the surfing looks fake. They'd drown on a real wave. Seriously, they sing in the ocean, and never spit out water." I heard someone knocking on the door and went to see who it is. As I opened the door I saw my mom! What is she doing here??? I thought she was supposed to be coming tomorrow. Colleen:"Surprise. Well, aren't you going to give your Mom a hug? Well, you are so... grown up. You look absolutely- unacceptable." Pidge:"What?" Colleen:"Not you, dear. Tell him the offer is unacceptable. It's good to see you Katie." Pidge:"What are you doing here? I thought you were coming tomorrow." Colleen:"Well, you thought wrong. We are leaving tomorrow. I hoped you've packed." ~~~~~~ Keith POV: After Pidge answered the door it was her mom?! What is she doing here? I heard Pidges mom say that they're leaving tomorrow and I got confused, So I walked into the room right behind Pidge. Keith:"Pidge, what does she mean by leaving tomorrow?" Pidge:"Uh, this is Keith." She introduced me to her mom, but she didn't answer my question about her leaving tomorrow. I'm getting even more confused. Colleen:"Keith, I'm Katie's Mom. I'm sure she's told you all about me." Keith:"Pidge, what does she mean by leaving tomorrow?" Pidge didn't answer me again. I'm getting sick and tired of this, but I'm tryin' to be patient with her answering my question. ~~~~~~~~~ Pidges POV: Samuel:" Colleen, welcome home." Colleen:"Oh, hello, Samuel." Samuel:"You know it's good to have... (Colleen made Samuel take her purse) Have you back." Colleen:"I see you still making surfboards. Oh, don't tell me. You still have that." Pidge:"Still have it? We all grew up with the legends of this board. It's part of the family." Samuel:"Me, your grandfather, and his father, we each found are own destiny on it." Colleen:"There is one way to "Find" your destiny, Katie. And that is to... work hard for it." Keith:"Okay. All right, Pidge. What does she mean by leaving tomorrow?" My heart sank when Keith asked me that question again. And then my Mom answered his question for me, but I'm gonna tell him why I'm leaving tomorrow. ~~~~~~~ Keith POV: I've asked her like three time's what her mom meant by leaving tomorrow and she didn't answer my question. I'm getting a little mad, yet confused. Colleen:"Keith, as for tomorrow, my daughter will be attending the exclusive... Overpriced, and did I mentioned exclusive, Dunwich Prepatory Academy." Keith:"What?" Colleen:"Back east." I was surprised what Pidges mom said! Like why is she leaving? Why is she going to that Dunwich Prepatory Academy? Most likely, why didn't she tell me that she was leaving??? ~~~~~~~~ Pidge POV: Samuel:"Uh, Colleen, we should talk about this, please." Colleen:"There is nothing to talk about. This has always been the deal. Isn't it right, Katie?" Pidge:"Sure. It's just that, um... tomorrow there are these extreme conditions I've been waiting my entire life to surf..." Colleen:"Surf? Oh sweetheart. Your new life begins tomorrow. Your endless summer has... come to an end." I took Keith outside to talk to him. Keith:"I can't believe you didn't tell me." Pidge:"You don't know how hard I tried. I just... I didn't know how." Keith:"You're leaving? Just like that? Why are they making you do this?" Pidge:"They're not making me. it's my choice." Keith:"So change your mind." Pidge:"They're isn't enough time. My flight leaves at noon tomorrow." Keith:"How can you leave? This is your home. It's where your dad is. It's where you surf, It's where I am." Pidge:"I was really lucky to get into this school, Keith. My mom said it will pave the way to my future. I know you're upset, and I should've told you. I just... I didn't know how." As I started walking away Keith caught up to me and grabbed my hand. I started to tear up a little. Keith:"Pidge! Hey. Stop! What was this deal your mom was talking about?" Pidge:"After my mom left, the deal I made with her is that I would stay here in the first part of high school. Then, when it was time to get serious, I will leave with my mom and go to this school." Everything went silence for a minute. I saw Keith tearing up a little. And I was a little too. Keith:"So she just shows up to take you away? Aren't you happy here?" Everything went silence again for a minute. I want to show him my mom's journal. I feel a little guilty for leaving him here, yet I want to go to this school because my mom never got to. Pidge:"This is my mom's journal. "Most of all, I dream that my daughter becomes a great success. That she isn't just pulled through life... But Marches through it... Triumphantly." Pidge:"My mom wanted me to go to college, and make something of herself but. She had me, time passed, and... She never got to live out that dream." Keith:"That's not your fault." Pidge:"No, I know it's not. I also know that I can do what she never had a chance to." Keith:"You don't have to be who your mom is. Pidge, you can be anything you want." Pidge:"Keith, I have to do this." I started to walk away again, but Keith caught up to me and grabbed my arm and I turned to him. Keith:"What about us?" Pidge:"How can there be an us after today?" Keith:"I'll wait for you." I started to cry a little. Pidge:"I know how it feels to Miss someone, Keith. And I care about you too much to ever put you through that." Keith:"So you're saying that you care about me enough to break up with me?" Pidge:"I don't want to, Keith, but what choice do I have?" Keith started to walk away from me and headed towards the deck. He leaned on the railings. When I got to him I hugged him, and kissed him on the shoulder. Pidge:"Thanks... For the most awesome summer of my life. I wish it wasn't over." ~~~~~~~~~~ -A day later- ~~~~~~~~~~ Keith POV: Today is the day Pidge is gonna leave. I was so sad that she had to go, but then I realized today is the day at the beach is gonna be 40-foot waves. And I know her, she won't miss a surf like that. So I got my breakfast and headed out to the beach. I saw her standing there with her dad's surfboard and watching the waves go by. I came right next to her. Keith:"What's up?" Pidge:"How did you know I was gonna be here?" Keith:"I knew you couldn't stay away from a surf like this." Pidge:"Keith, I'm glad you came... but I told you..." I intrupted her. Keith:"I came to watch you surf, not to propose." We both went in silence for a minute. Pidge:"Okay. Check out what I'm about to do." I saw her running into the water and paddle to the waves and she started to surf. She is amazing! And then Pidges dad came next to me and watched Pidge surf. Samuel:"Hey, bro." Keith:"You gotta see this. She's rippin' it." Samuel:"Yeah. I don't like the looks of this sky, Keith." I looked at the sky and the clouds were getting darker. I knew a huge storm would come, but I didn't know it would come now. The waves were getting stronger, and everyone is falling off of their surfboards because of it. Keith:"Yeah, check it out. You're right. That doesn't look good. She's gotta get in. This looks bad." A lifeguard started to stand up on his chair blowing his whistle and putting a red flag in the air. Pidge knew that the lifeguard was saying to paddle in, but she wasn't. Keith:"What is she doing?" Samuel:"She's not padding in. This isn't good." I got a life jacket on and ran to a jetski and drove it to get Pidge. Keith:"Pidge! Come on. Don't do it." Pidge:"No, I have to." Keith:"Don't do it. Pidge!" Pidge went surfing anyways. And when she started to surf she fell into the water and I jumped off the jetski to save her. But when I pulled her back up to the surface something wasn't right. The storm wasn't here, no waves, and the jetski was gone! Keith:"You okay?" Pidge:"What are you doing here? Okay, what happened to the storm?" Keith:"Come on, let's get your board. Let's go." We went to get her surfboard and went back to shore. Pidge:"What did you do?" Keith:"I tried to save you. This is the part where you tell me I'm your hero, and you shower me with kisses." Pidge:"I didn't need saving. This was my chance to ride that monster wave before I leave forever and instead, I end up here and... Keith..." Keith:"Yeah?" Pidge:"Keith." Keith:"...Yeah?" ~~~~~~~~~~~ Pidge POV: when I was yelling at Kieth I heard someone singing and a girl jumping in the air. Me and Keith got closer to the music and saw a lot of people singing and dancing. (Various Characters singing) -What a day Sunshine and sweet harmonies. Time to play. No more... Complications. From now on, just... good vibrations. Ooh, oh, whoa, whoa! Ooh, oh, whoa, whoa! Ah... Pidge:"Maybe were dead. We've Died and ended up in a musical!" Me and Keith moved behind a couple Surfboards and watched them sing and dance. (Various Beach Characters Singing) (Lance singing) "On my way, feeling fine. I can see the reflection in my surfboard shine. I can hardly wait to cause a commotion. Come on, everyone, jump into the Ocean. Flyin' high, just out of reach, girl. Surf, surf. -Surf, surf crazy- (Surf, surf crazy) Grab the perfect wave and say, hi to the sky. (High to the sky) Surf, sun and sand. It's a bikini wonderland. Summer's on and we've Gone. Surf surf crazy. The radio blast and here's the plan. We'll soak up the sun and get the ultimate tan. We can hardly wait to show our devotion. Here we go again into the ocean. Now's the time so here's the speech. No rules at all, have a ball at the beach. Surf, surf, surf, surf crazy. (Surf, surf, surf, surf crazy) Ride the perfect wave and say hi to the sky. Surf, sun and sand, it's a bikini wonderland. Summer's on and we've Gone. Surf, surf crazy." Keith:"Pidge, we're in the movie." Pidge:"What movie?" Keith:"My movie. Wet Side Story." Pidge:"What!? How? why?" Keith:"All available questions. Pidge:"What do we do?" Keith:"Have fun! Woo!" (Various Beach Characters singing) "Burgers hot, water warm, a cool seaside bash. Catch a wave, turn it up. Make a splash, make a splash. Make a splash! (splashing water at Pidge.) Crazy! Lance:"I'm Lance!" Hunk:"Hunk!" Romelle:"Romelle!" Keith:"Keith!" Pidge:"...I'm Pidge." All of the Surfers went inside and we followed them inside. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Keith POV: Today is a awesome day! We're stuck in a movie, but not just a movie, a musical! And it's the best thing that ever happened to me ever! Pidge didn't like it that much, especially after I threw water at her during the song. We followed all the surfers inside. Keith:"Oh, that was awesome!" All of the sudden all of the surfers stared at me and Pidge like we did something wrong. Since we were stuck in a movie, a movie that made in the 1960s and no one understood what I just said. I almost forgot that back in 1962 that awesome wasn't a word yet. Keith:"I mean... Insane. Um... what up, dawg?" Hunk:"Far out. He thinks were animals." Pidge:"No, it's an expression. It means... He's right, it does sound ridiculous." Hunk:"And where are you cats from?" Pidge:"So cats is okay, but dogs is weird." Keith:"Just follow my lead." Pidge:"Is it leading us home?" Keith:"We're from, uh.. Keith:"Not far away." Pidge:"Far away." Keith:"Far away." Pidge:"Not far away." Keith:"Right, not far, but, um..." Pidge:"But, but... far. Close... far." I haven't felt this embarrassed before. Everyone went in silence for a minute. Hunk:"Hey, Matt." Matt:"Yeah, Hunk?" Hunk:"Seems to me that we've got some unwanted hodads..." Matt:"Hodads!" Hunk:"That we need to put the kibosh..." Matt:"Kibosh!" Keith:"No, no, you've got it all wrong."
