The interview with the American lasted twenty minutes. In that time he told the Chief Inspector everything he knew – all that Grant and Sara had told him about the events in Yorkshire leading up to the shooting and Alan Mattherson’s deal with the Chinese, the murder of Sarah’s father and George Travers. When Templeton returned to his office he called a meeting to assemble the team.
