(2) he doesn't deserve you!

The next day, Lisa woke up earlier than usual. She had a hard time coming to the terms that she had lost someone whom she had put all her efforts in.

She was woken up by a lively and busy sound of people making noise and hooting of cars around her apartment.

It was a bright Saturday morning and since she had no tasks ahead, she opted to do some cleaning in the house.

She lazily got out of the bed and sleepily dragged herself to the window, as it has become a norm to her she watched  the busy town at an angle from her bedroom's window.

She opened the window,bright morning sunlight suddenly flooded the room,the cool fresh breeze came through the opened window and hugged her face soothingly.

She then yawned, opening her mouth, she remembered she did take her diner quite well the previous night, she had to prepare something for herself.

She busied herself in her small kitchen just across the room, she reached on her kitchen counter, took some two eggs went ahead and made some scrambled eggs for herself, she picked up the bread from the kitchen cabinet and applied some butter on it.

By the time she was done, tea was ready. She took her breakfast in silence as she watched some comedy on her HP  laptop on the bed.

It was  around ten o'clock that she was done taking her breakfast and cleaning the dishes.

She took her laundry bucket in the washroom where she was to wash from, she then proceeded to change her beddings tossed the dirty ones in the bucket too.

She then proceeded  to clean her house, she moped the whole room ,dusted every other part of the room until it was sparkling clean.

She was still hurting from the turn of events but being a stoic person she was, she rather endured the pain to herself than talking her heart out to her closest friend, Lesley.

Lesley was her close friend ever since she joined the university, they met through one of her numerous friends on f******k.

She remembered how she met Max. His profile said he studied in Maasai mara University, popularly know as 'MMARAU'

She read on his profile after he in boxed her, they then became friends. Max was a kikuyu guy from Kiambu county while Lisa was a luo from kisumu city.

She had finished her form four from Butere Girl's which was the only national girl school in kakamega county. When Max later learnt that she did her form four from the prominent School, he mentioned to her about his girlfriend, Jasmine, who was in the same School but a year ahead of her

Through Jasmine, Lisa met Lesley, Lesley was Jasmine's classmate back in highschool.

Lesley was one of the 'celeb' students back then in highschool, she was popularly known to be the drama queen and the rudest girl in the School, she was a manipulator because she always got what she wanted.

When they met that day, Lesley liked Lisa  from the start and they just clicked and that's how they got to become friends.

Lesley was her only close and best friend in the university but she stayed in the University hostels. She trusted her but she found it hard to express whatever that was in her heart.

She had talked to her about Tyler's sudden change in behavior and the minimal calls, Lesley just brushed off the idea saying maybe he needed time to recover from whatever he was going on, Lisa was to give him time.

But since Lisa had known Tyler for close to four years, she knew something was amiss and that was a harbinger to her.

She however decided to go by Lesley's piece of advice. She kept her cool and asked Tyler to take his time and recover from whatever s**t he was going through, Tyler being the lunkhead he was, he just accepted and said nothing more to it. He thought of how Lisa was docile and he would manipulate her into doing anything he wanted.

After a few weeks of unfruitful tries to win him back, Lisa decided to confront him on the matter, she wasn't going to text so she decided to give him a call.

It was a tiresome day, she was from school and she had no plans of going out that day, although it was Friday she decided it was the day she was going to solve whatever mystery that was befalling the two of them.

She reached her house, removed her boots and plopped herself on the only couch besides her bed.

It was still five o'clock in the evening so she was sure Tyler was still in his room and was hoping he'd pick up that call.

"Hey babe, how's the going" Lisa asked on the other end

" just fine how about you" Adrian answered seeming bored

"kinda good , whats up with you anyway, you've been so distant of late, you don't reply my messages, you rarely call me these days, you've been avoiding me for at least three weeks now, what is the problem Tyler, you know we can figure this out and solve it, I miss you"

Lisa was already sobbing silently and blowing up her nose, but that didn't deter Tyler from breaking up with her , he still had the intentions of doing that, lucky enough she's the one who called ,he has been wanting to tell her that but she lacked the courage to approach her, this was the time he was going to finalize everything.

"Lisa, I don't know how to tell you this but in sure it will hurt you more than I have done it already, I don't feel like we should continue with this anymore, you're far and I don't think I can still go on with this, I hope you find someone who will love you more than I ever did"

" what Tyler, please tell me you're kidding, I love you please don't do that to me, I'll do anything to see you happy" Lisa said amidst tears

But that was it, the last words Tyler ever said to her, she gnashed her teeth angrily as she stood up from the couch, she was crying bitterly, her heart was in turmoil, too much pain, she felt like her world was falling apart.

She thought of just killing herself but,she was crestfallen ,she didn't expect it to turn out this way, but that was it she had to cope up with the situation nothing else would make  Tyler come back to her again, he was gone and gone for good.

As she tried getting some sleep that day, the memories of Tyler and her kept flowing in her mind and it made her cry even more.

She was still standing in the mid of her room with the picture of her and Tyler in her right hand,tears flowed down down her cheeks and she used her left thumb to wipe them out,she tore the picture several times and threw the pieces in the dustbin just at the corner of the room.

She walked straight to the washroom and started washing.

It took her exactly one hour to finish up with everything, she walked outside and hung her clothes on the wireline just outside her house in the balcony and went back in.

She took a shower and slid into her Short, black ripped booty short and a white tank top. Put on warm and comfy socks and picked her phone from the night stand.

She unlocked her phone and proceeded to make her self comfortable on the bed. She unlocked it and she came to face with three missed  calls from Lesley, one from her Grandma, one from Ray her elder brother and several texts from Lesley.

She opted to call her Grandma first and after they talked, she called Lesley just immediately.

"Hey girl, where you been, I've tried calling you like twenty times"

" Relax girl, it was not even twenty missed calls just three of them, and I'm good sorry was doing some cleaning and my phone was in silent mode"

" I missed you, got any plans today?"

"Nope not really wanted to spend the rest of the day sleeping and watching cartoons"

" come on Lisa, don't tell me you still sulking over that sorry for a man, he doesn't deserve that, now carry your ass up her and out on something more sexy,I got plans for you"

" Wow I can't thank you enough, I was super bored, and by something sexy you mean a short dress , because right now I'm in  my black booty short and a white tank top"

"Yes exactly that's what I mean, take your long black denim and those sexy black boots of yours, I'm  waiting in my room, I'm gonna spoil you today, you don't need to sulk every damn time"

" Okay mum, I'm coming, give me a few minutes"

Lisa hung up and proceeded to take her Gucci money bag, packed up a few things she needed and took her phone.

She walked downstairs and picked up a motorbike from the other side of the road and gave the driver directions to drop her at the University gate.
