Despite everything going on in her life, Lisa had a good life in campus.
She stayed in the rare places just a few minutes to her campus premises.
She had a sense of fashion, too, her elder brother made sure she had everything she needed in school.
Her grandma was a retiree and was receiving her pension money so life at home wasn't that hard.
They lived in one of the posh estates, Milimani estates in kisumu city. Her brother made sure they were living quite a good life. Her father was the only son so no doubt he was grandma's best son.
Once at the gate,Lisa fished out a two hundred note from her pocket gave it to the motorcycle guy and told him to keep change, from the look of the things the guy was super excited about it
He mumbled a thank you and reversed out of the University gate.
She walked briskly towards the main girl's hostel , Suswa, it was among the known girl's hostel because most of the 3rd years and 4th years stayed.
Lesley was a loquacious type so when Lisa entered the main stairs to her room, she could hear her friend's voice right from her hostel room.
Room 378B, she knocked on it and Lesley run into her.
"Hey girl I missed you, look at who just came in right now"
" Relax Les, we were with you not days ago huh"
"I know my dear, can't I just miss you in peace?
Come in I was just getting ready"
" At least I was getting tired on the door already"
Lisa said as she made herself comfortable on the seat besides Lesley's bed.
" Hey Martha, I can see you getting ready too"
" Hey girl , yeah you know we can't miss that chance for heaven's sake"
"And by the way Lesley you never told me about the plan, it's already 3pm"
" Oooh gosh I forgot, just like Martha told you ,we going to have some fun today"
Lisa sighed and removed her phone from her bag and logged into her **, she had a lot of followers because of her sense of fashion, her beauty, and not to forget her nice figure.
Despite her dad being a luo, her mom was a kamba lady from the ukambani, a light skinned woman, seems she took after her mom's complexity.
Lisa was a true definition of beauty, her petite waist, her spotless skin and she used no make up making her looking beautiful than ever.
Numerous men gushed in her inbox with a lot of compliments and some flirting, Lisa took none of them serious, she had one person to focus on and that was Tyler, who was currently her ex boyfriend.
She scrolled through her profile and came across a pic she had taken some few months ago.
It was a pic of her and Tyler, taken at the swimming pool, and Tyler had kissed her on her left cheek as she snapped the pic, she looked at it and tears threatened to fall down.
Sh has captioned 'love of my life' it took her enough courage and she deleted it, she went down and deleted everything.
She then let her mind travel fancifully into her best moments and memories she had with Tyler. Everything was sweet until a few weeks ago when things started changing drastically, Tyler's interest in her was waning rapidly until when he decide to make his intentions clear.
She kept wondering what had changed in him that made him break up with her.
The more she kept thinking about him the more she got hurt.
" Is Tyler also thinking about me the way I'm doing or maybe I'm the only one wallowing myself in stress while he's out there enjoying his time with some other random b***h he chose over me?" She asked herself and got no answer maybe it's time she moved on from that miserable life and focus on something else, she also had a life to keep worrying about.
It was Lesley that brought he back from her short reverie.
" My God Lisa you have zoned out already, what the heck is wrong with you girl, I told you you got a life to live and not thinking about that good for nothing guy, he doesn't deserve your time , cmon let's going, in fact by the end of today you'll have gotten someone more better than him"
Lesley winked at her and Lisa gave her the 'what do you mean' look but Lesley shrugged innocently giving Martha furtive glances.
"I'm innocent honey, Lesley is the only one who knows where she's gonna take us today"
" Why do I feel like you lying to me" Lisa asked and they both burst out laughing.
" We going for swimming honey, you know seasons hotel, after then we will know what to do after that" Lesley said and Lisa just nodded
" And why didn't you tell me to carry my swimming suit and some bikinis?" Lisa asked Lesley and she just smiled.
"You will use mine, it's not like you have never used them before"
As Lesley locked the door behind her ,she had her own motives, she was the only one who knew about them.
It was about Adrian, her roommate's course mate and a cool friend of hers. Although Lesley was never in a stable relationship she never lacked new catches from time to time, but for Adrian she had promised to help him reach Lisa, after all Lisa was now single and free
Adrian has been crushing in Lisa for long now and he only wished for Lisa to give him a chance, and here was the chance he had been waiting for, had to convince her and make her his.
They descended the stairs quietly and walked towards the main gate. Since they both had high heeled shoes they opted to take a taxi to town.
It was not just a swimming spree but a pool party.
Adrian was celebrating his birthday and he decided to throw a pool party in seasons hotels.
Many students were in attendance but most of them were invited.
" Hey less you didn't tell me it was a f*****g pool party, you know how much I love them!"
Lisa shrieked as she hugged Lesley tightly.
" I know babe and that's why I wanted it a secret, you know I always got you"
She winked at Lisa and they both laughed heartily.
They walked in the changing rooms and changed into their bikinis, each took a towel and they both head out.
They left their belongings in a certain room which Adrian has specifically booked for them . After making sure everything was safe, they walked out and joined the rest at the pool.
Lisa's prominent hips were protruding making guys look at her lustfully at her but she realised a certain cute guy looking at her and she smiled at him, he smiled back and she patted her friend's hand to show her the cutie seating at the other side of the pool, not knowing it was Adrian.
Martha had already joined her other friends and it was just Lisa and Lesley seated at the other side of the pool.
Some drinks were brought to them and they gladly took one tumbler each.
After a few minutes of enjoying themselves, Adrian saw it the best time to approach Lisa and he walked towards them.
