Mate Camp

Chapter Twelve

Cecilia's POV

"HOW DID THIS HAPPEN ??" I slammed the door behind me screaming at my brother who is just sitting on the bed like it's not a big deal. "WHY did the spell not work?!" 

"I don't know, sister. You said that you felt it the moment Sebastian cast the spell" My brother Drake said nonchalantly. 

" I need to see him tonight!" I told him, crossing  my arms. "You told me he is the best with love spells. Tony should have been head over heels for me by now!" I demanded answers.

"Alright alright, I'll get him to meet us outside the territory." Drake said as he typed vigorously on his phone. 

"ARGHHH." I let out a frustrated scream and stomped my foot. My mother ran into the room and asked. "What's going on sweetie?" 

"I was supposed to be mated to the Beta now. And here I am standing mate less." I snapped back at my mom. She of all people told me I can have whomever I want. "The embarrassment I endured will not go unpunished!"  

"Maybe we should have cast the spell on Alpha Damon instead." My mom suggested. 

"Sebastian said an Alpha is too powerful and would see through the spell in a matter of time, if it works at all on him." My brother chimed in. 

"See mom. It's all your fault!" I screamed at her. 

"Now, let's not talk to your mother like that." My dad walked in the room and scolded me. He has no title and his tone doesn't affect me at all. "I'm sure you will find your real mate soon."

"I DON"T WANT MY REAL MATE! I want Beta Tony!!" I yelled back. "Sebastian better fix this tonight!" I stomped off to my room and slammed my door without a care if anything broke.

I stared at the moving boxes and kicked one over making all the contents fall out. I didn't care. My mom will just have to pick that up. I am supposed to move into the pack house today. And not only that, I had big plans to move into Tony's Beta-Quarters immediately. I just can't focus on anything but the spell gone wrong. Becoming Beta's mate was the best idea my mom had. I would have the authority that I deserve but none of the responsibility of a Luna. All the girls would envy me having a handsome mate such as Beta Tony.  I wouldn't have to put up with anyone's s**t anymore. I would have the say and make him love me unconditionally. I can already see him worshipping my body every night. A knock on the door interrupted my thoughts. 

"What? Who is it?" I said annoyed.

"It's me." My brother said. "Sabastian will meet us in an hour." 

"About time." I said, walking out of my room knocking over another box. "Let's go, Drake. We're taking your car!" 

We drove to the secret meeting point. We parked the car in the abandoned lot and spotted Sebastian's Mercedes pull up. He sure makes a lot of money with this black magic of his. I got out of the car and stomped towards him. "Your magic failed!" I dug my pointer finger into his chest glaring at him angrily. 

"Whoa hold your horses blondie! I gave you what you paid for!" He crossed his arms defensively.

"I paid for a mate bond and expected it to work on both of us!" I shouted back. 

"Yeah, you paid the lowest price my dear. I told you if you want a stronger spell, foolproof, then you should have paid up! Besides for a Beta, the spell I cast should have been enough. Are you sure he is not an Alpha?"

" Of course I am sure he is not an Alpha! Do I look stupid?!" I asked rhetorically.

"Well.. erhm I mean Ye.... " Sebastian responded but my brother cut in.

"Let's focus on the issue here guys!" Drake stepped in between Sebastian and I. "Tony has been Beta for almost two years now. He took over his father's position." 

"Mhh I see. Well unless you're willing to pay more I can not help you." Sebastian dared to say. 

"Whatever it takes!" I said to both of the men standing next to me. 

"Alright then. I will work on something and I'll be in touch." The warlock turned around, got in his car and sped off.
